Here's the big question, have YOU ever grown any garden crops? I'm thinking no, because of the nature of your questions. MJ is stupid simple compared to some food crops.

For all this talk about sourcing locally and making your own you sure do buy a lot of pre made stuff and bottles. I think I have 3 bottles, 1 of BT concentrate, 1 of Safers soap concentrate and 1 of ProTect. No nutes of any form other than 50lb bags.

Have never bought a bagged soil either, not in 44 years of making my own mixes. Never saw the need since I could do it both better and cheaper. Plus I make ~10cf of fresh mix every year in addition to what gets recycled and bagged mixes would quickly make me broke. 90%+ of this is used for food crops.

The lack of a worm bin is the most telling to a lack of commitment though. There is simply no excuse for not having one since all you need is ~3sf in a corner somewhere. A compost pile and comfrey bed are the other 2 biggies, but must be done outside and not everyone has a yard.

Skip a trip to the hydro shop and use the $$$ to set up a bin. It will be the best thing you could do for your plants.

You can put a small barrel composter inside.

If done right it won't stink anymore than a worm bin.

I guess you could use the worm bin to compost. Vermicompost. It will be a mix of castings and composted material.

That's the reason I have a kitchen sink and counter top outside to clean fish, squirrel, chicken, rabbit, turkey, and deer.

Been growing my food outside for years in the midwest under intense summer sun and I will vouch for this, grease is correct in what he said.

Do you guys really have problems with your significant others taking issue with doing this stuff indoors? Maybe my lady really is a hell of a keeper. She never says a word about anything other than "That neem smells like old potato soup". She helps me trim, mix soil, inspect plants, etc. She smokes her fair share though so maybe that's the key in it all haha. Dunno, just seems odd I suppose to hear about gf's and wives complain about stuff that obviously brings much joy and satisfaction from just the acts themselves.

My woman is cool as fuck. She doesn't even partake in cannabis. We let each other do the stuff we like to do. Feeling lucky.

Mine is also an active member of the farm co-op....although, I did have to build a stand alone op.....Holding of compost material in house to be used is limited BY the smelly factor.....Her words are "I can work in stink but, I won't LIVE in it!"

I refuse to mention the several days a year of "fresh country" air from poop shooting! Funny thing is it smells for over a week.....You loose any notice in 3 days - you get used to it!

Ever notice barns are built down the prevailing wind of homes now....In the old days they were directly connected TO the home! All the heat from the animals and composting helped heat the house! The family's original farmhouse In Aurora Canada still stands across from the elementary school. It's connected to the Barn......The one here in the states from the other side of the "tree" was rebuilt and was that way too.

The Original part of our farmhouse was built in 1863 and it was connected to the barn.....That barn is long gone and the house has multiple additions that hide that fact. The house was the first to have "running" water IN the home in our county - they built on top of a still active artesian well and hand pumped that straight up to the kitchen....

Not really, and after 40 years if she has an issue then *I* have an issue and it gets worked out. The only thing totally banned is fish fert indoors.

My fault though. Way back when (early 1990's), I grew a EXTREMELY stinky plant (Williams Wonder), that no carbon filter could tame. When we moved she put the ban on any smelly plants inside, not just mj. Anyway, I was gifted some seeds from a very experienced grower/breeder. A pure Indica that has zero smell, but is still a 2 hits and quit. I've been running it going on 7 years now with no complaints and no need for odor control.

I have grown countless types of garden crops, and I sure as shit didn't say a thing about less light being better, I was saying less light makes the leaves darker.



i'm in a atypical surly mood, so I won't respond past that.
But I do suggest you not getting in a pissing match with me, experience and knowledge are in my favor, friend.
I've tried to help you over and over and to be honest it feels pretty unproductive.
Your posts are very reflective.. So it's not necessary for me to ridicule you in a public forum. You do a VERY good job showing everyone your lack of experience.

That was from their site... Their Allmix Is a super soil that's why they Sell their Premix which is all the amendments premixed and you add that and their worm humus. Hmm sounds a Lot like recycling soil.

Again Not saying Only water can't be done. I'm saying to achieve Optimal results Extra Liquid nutrients need to be added. Whether it's homemade Teas or industry produced nutes.

Alan with Probiotics and grows for Gage Green I believe, uses All organic but goes Heavy on his tea creations providing Even more nutes. themodern.farm says the same thing. And even they say to buy their GroKashi or thus and that.

If you have to add nutrients during flower your mix isn't correct, this guy isn't a great organic farmer, hes using old organic techniques, where are the sprouted seed teas and other sources of enzymes, I wouldn't suggest using extra liquid nutrients to any of my grow, its just not going to come out as good as a properly mixed soil that has a couple SSTs and maybe 1 or 2 ACTs, but never a AACT if you need AACTs then it means you didn't make your soil correct.

My girl helps me trim , transplant, make plans to grow, reclaim our outdoor garden each year , plant outdoors and helps me till. Nothing like having someone that likes to do the same things you do, I don't think I could do this without her, she gives me the motivation to do this, without my girl I am really unmotivated.
