i have a auto himalayan blue diesel growing now, and it is very small it is 2weeks into flower havent got my camera to take pictures but you can se them in my other post, i didnt use perlite in the soil and it is very small, my next grow i'm going for auto russian rocket fuel, so does perlite make your plant bigger aswell

Perlite mixed with your choice of soils allows your soil to drain much better and not become compacted....

you can also get pre mixed soils that already contain perlite - a good place to start is BioBizz Light-Mix Soil (the light-mix has fewer nutes and reduces chances of burn on seedlings)

also if you want better rooting systems look into airpots - they air prune root systems and prevent root circling

You can also skip soil altogether and use perlite as your medium in a hydro drip system.

Is it okay to use a vegin plant in 125w 2700k becus i want to plant my other HBD improved grow, or is it best to wait

i didnt use no perlite? i just put some ...um...dont know the english name for it, but its like small light rocks you put att the bottom of your soil so the water can runoff easier.

ps. the small light rocks i mentioned crumbles if you step on em..and theyre brown in color...HAHA that help explain em?

So how much Perlite do I need to add to my potting mix? FoxFarm Ocean Forest potting soil is the medium I'm using in 3 gal pots. I'm sure I want to use perlite, but the mixes are so varied between growers!
