Is Pot Addictive?

Dawned on me just now.
We can't have it both ways.
If we want to claim weed decreases inflammation, reduces pain, drys our mouths and reddened our eyes.(all physical)
Then why would a long term abuser not expect a bit of inflimation, decreased pain tolerance, whiteness of the eyes and a wet mouth upon suddenly stopping.

now what bitches

Yea I'm already naturally a dick. When I don't got weed stay the fuck away from me. I'm very irritable I even annoy myself I usually stay quiet so I don't have to hear my voice. That hardly happens because I always have weed.. I've quit before for 9 months it was amazing I felt high, because I was so used to being high.sober showed me the bright colors of the world it also allowed me to have very vivid dreams that I really enjoyed. Kinda dreams I had when I was a kid.. that being said quitting is easy... Two weeks of discomfort is not much..I'm sure I'll quit one day then start again then quit again.. either way I will always grow. I'm naturally decent at it and I enjoy it.

I smoked from when I was way too young until I was about 25. No problem.
Got into some alcohol fuel trouble n landed in jail and rehab.
Absolutely couldn't quit the weed cold turkey. In the face of consequences I kept returning. I understand now I could have stopped but back then I was very driven to it.

Point being my opinion is weed is fine as long as you never run out or are forced to stop.
That is where it becomes a problem.
Luckily it is becoming more acceptable so people who choose to use daily have easy access.

I fucking loved weed but due to me being an idiot they eventually made me stop for a long time and now it sux.
I long for it still and periodically try again but no go.
Fact is I have a jar on my desk right now I grew specifically for me.
Critical mass, bought nice new glass and daily plan to try it but can't get up the balls.

Literally mind boggling.

But that is how powerful it really is.
I romantacise it to this day.

You'll feel like all this time was for nothing. It was hard for me to smoke after I quit for so long. I got high I was mistaking bushes with Christmas light's for cars (I got high and went jogging).. I was tore up.. that lasted 3 days I got used to it again almost immediately. And once again it became like water to me.

I hope so, I'm at a perfect place for it. Stable forever now, kids are grown.
This critical mass should be a good way to go. Low the, high cbd indica.
Your probably right I'll just have to retrain my brain.

Anything can be addictive, so yes pot can be addictive. Smoke pot every day for a year then stop suddenly, you'll have withdraw symptoms. Not as bad as other substances though eg tobbaco withdrawals

Oxygen is addictive as fuck.

I'm certain things can be addictive, but for me, cannabis is not. I've had several addictive substances, yet the only things that come close to being addictive is food and women. I'm also a sucker for a freaking sweet bargain. Considering that I've had prescription narcotics, etc, things that would addict others leads me to believe that addiction may lay within a person more than the substance itself. Maybe I'm just an oddity, but that's my belief based on personal experience.

I had some blunt e juice given to me and I stopped using it because I didn't want nicotine in my system. I dropped it cold turkey, zero withdrawal.

Lol, I grabbed my guitar, for sure sparked the relaxed but inspired thing.
I beat off constantly so I'll let ya know how that goes too, I may draw a stick figure for illustration purposes.
But god damn I chose right on the weed.
I took a small hit and usually that is too much n I get paranoid.
I feel like as long as I have something to direct my energy at ill be fine.

I just got REALLY high, and I've been reading pretty enjoyable threads here this morning. I've made the realization that threads are usually better when I don't post in them. That's fucked up. Seriously, wasn't this thread better before this post? I'm not going to stop posting because I am a selfish asshole, but you people really deserve better. Too bad for you...
