just pick them off , and if it does happen to pollinate the seeds from a hermie are almost always female

Sorry, if you really have a plant that is showing both types of flowers right off, then you have a true hermie, and any seeds will have hermie trait. You don't want to keep that plant, or its seeds.

What I can see looks like a calyx at the node, nothing to indicate male.

yeah she's a hermie...it's growing both buds and seeds now...i'm trying to save the top of the plants by picking off the pollen sacks...and trimming stems that aren't worth saving...we'll see how it goes...

i think potroast might be right about hermie seeds producing hermies...my very 1st grow went really bad and she was a hermie which produced seeds...and these are them...all 4 r hermies...

for my next batch should i spray down with h2o w/bleach and wipe down??? will the pollen still be there?

Did any pollen release? The mature pollen sacks will unzip and spread yellow powder around. It takes awhile before that happens.

yeah some pollen was spread...alot of the lower branches are now producing seeds =(

the top of the plants don't seem to be effected much, i'm sure thc levels will be lower now, due to the plant focus on producing seeds...but some bud is better than none right...i cut down some of the branches that had alot of seeds on them...dried them out and smoked it and it wasn't too bad...definately not great but its a good sign

i'm starting to see the crystals form now...well see how the next 15-20days go...been flowering for 30days now. i'll keep u guys posted

Maybe thc levels will be lower in the seeded buds, I don't really know. But any buds that haven't been pollenated will still be sensi, and as potent as they can be.

If your only growing one plant at a time I would make sure theres not any light cycle interruption. a friend's plant was interrupted and went hermie almost immediately. He was bringing it in from outdoors and putting it outdoors irregularly. he saved the plant by leaving it outdoors and clipping the male parts immediately.
The hermie female only bit is used by forcing a female turn hermie and natural hermies genitics should not be kept. I would try and save it though. clip the male parts and see if it grows more as soon as it does if it does either try and further save it by clipping the male parts as soon as they appear or trash it. By keeping it goin as long as possible you could start some new stuff and have a little harvest by the time the new ones are ready.

fem seeds arent 100% guaranteed about 85%.You can easily hermie these gentic freaks seeds though so they need to be maintained well. A single seed pollen sac can pollanate for miles. And pollen sacs need about 1-2 days to pop.Hope you got it out of there before it popped

And I forgot I just saw a post in here saying seeds from hermies are always female. You must be smoking way to much as chnaces are the seeds will be hermie heavy in content.Either by genetic default or parent tendency.Hermie is the basterd child of the weed world. Good for nothing but wasting time

id wait and be sure but that is a big swing in temp and that puts a lot of stress in the plants
the less the swings in temp the closer the nodes will be and healthier the plant will be
