As I understand if I harvest when they are milky white and not amber I will get what I am looking for.
I know my northern lights are not ready yet but is this girl?

Not sure if that is correct what I said about the high not the body stone. I was told for pain you want the milky white not amber. So new to this.
I just want to get this one up and drying asap.

not ready got like 3-4 more weeks probably. is it outdoors? probably october if so. and just harvest it when its ready strains will determine more whether you get a body stone or a head stone usually. wait for it to swell up that thing is going to look amazing. if it has pistols its a girl btw and like i said thats a beautiful one at that.

It was planted from seed May 25th and is Early Wonder Skunk - Solar Warrior. I thought October would be to long for it. It has been 16 weeks from seed.

yeah i agree with mrblu on everything he just stated
3 weeks at least and your patients will be rewarded both in potency and yield :)

honestly its up to you bud
at this point it would all be head high fast pace, fast acting , short lived,
premature buds have their benefits
you could just quick dry some and it will give you a round about idea
i just take a newspaper chop it up with scissors and spread it out on one side of the papr and fold the other half over
smokeable out of a bowl in 10-20 mins
you'll get a more planty grassy taste from early harvest
i agree on the fact that they wont swell for a couple more weeks

well with outdoors it doesnt start flowering untill like late july i think. so the age doesnt matter its when it starts to flower when you can start getting an idea on when you can harvest. it could be 200 weeks old but if it has never been on the 14 hour or lower light it will not flower. most plants can be harvested in october but some earlier and some later depending on weather and location and strain of course.

Thanks everyone. Oh by the way I am a chick not a dude. *snicker* I just need the girls to hurry up if they could cause my @sshole neighbor has started a war over an easement that is on my property yet he thinks he owns it. You never know what he is going to do. He is growing as well and has a licence to smoke so if he tries to screw me he is gonna be sorry cause it is a huge no no in my province to grow if you have that. This is the part that I hate the most. Ok another question is it is starting to get cold at night. I have a small ceramic heater that goes on and off. Would it be a good idea to put it in there? In the gazebo if you were wondering. It has a roof and is fully walled.

I had that issue too. I put it in my signature. I don't know why it is automatically assumed that anyone posting here is a dude.:wall:
