Is Something Wrong?

Hey what's up ayahs. I'm newly registered to RIU forums, although I have been reading a LOT of threads for quite a while. I have a reasonable amount of knowledge regarding marijuana cultivation. But there is one problem, I'm currently working with a 70 W HPS (growing 1 plant )...

So my big concern is that it might not be quite in the right k [kelvin] spectrum range ( as it is in the 4100 k Range ).
I keep it about 6 1/2" above the canopy of the plant and sometimes the plant tacoes slightly up towards the light.
The plant looked healthy all the way up to day 4/5 . At day 6 I discovered some yellowiing in the new growth and if I look very closely I can see the very tip'S' of the serrated leaves look like a little burnt tip. * The new growth tips is also a bit crispy.*

Basic details of growth setup and growing medium ect:
#Ph:
I use tap water and let it all stand in a resevoir so that any unwanted chemicals don't disturb the little seedling's roots.( I don't have ph meter.. :( - I have another option to buy bottled pure 6.5 distilled water..any thoughts?

#Lighting:
[Brand] - Nordland Nf 70 HPSE E27
(With reflector)

#Soil:
[Brand] - GardenMaster Organic Potting Soil. This potting soil consists of a blend of well composted bark and other organic materials which are free of weed and other harmul soil pathogens.
***"This product decomposes slowly, benefitting the soil condition and textureover extended period"*** ---
Question: is there any negative effects with the high bark count of the soil and over time released nutes ?

#Nutrition:
None yet

#Strain:
Rooi baard skunk / Red beard skunk

#Growing Space Details:
I'm currently growing in a closet ---
3 M (meters) x 3 M x 1 M
(I'm not going to use up all this space though... Even if I would, I couln't with a 70 W hps...)
I'm trying to get about 1 Oz dried sugar coties with obviously that bursting red beard genetics that burst true when flowering.

Initial 2 Questions:
1. Is something wrong with my seedling ( day 8 ).
2. Do I have enough light ( 70 W hps 6 1/2 " from canopy )?

Any advice will be oh so much appreciated as we learn and learn as we go on.
