Hey BM512 -

I got a digital timer from Walmart, ran about 10-15 bucks.

Read the instructions and you'll figure it out in no time.

buy a figure 8 power cord (from any electronic store) and a timer which you can find at walmart. unplug the existing figue 8 cord that plugs into the lights at the top. connect new figure 8 cord and plug the 2 prong end into the timer. then the timer plugs into the outlet on the wall. then just set your timer as per instructions!

I bought a GE brand surge protect with 7 day digital timer from Home Depot.

Its pretty cool. YOu get 8 plugs. 4 always one (for the AG pump and additional pump) and 4 that are controled by the digital timer for the lights. You still need the figure 8 power cord. I got that at Wally for $7.

The surge protector cost $17. It only had a 3 fot cord so I bought a high grade extension cord for $8.

It is in the electrical supply section of HD.
