Is there an Additive I can run through the whole Flower Period?

I'm a newb, first grow. I have a 4x4 table doing sog. The issue is I will be starting two rows of plants (16) every 2 weeks. So I can't time a specific newt for a specific 2 weeks because all the plants in the tray will be at different flowering ages.

Is there one nute (other than the base A/B nute from AN I'm using) that can benefit my yield by running the whole way through?

If it makes a diff.....I'm growing 45 day powerkush

As long as they are all in flowering add some Potash+ , but only ~1 oz/8 gallons. PK boosters can overload, and cause the plant to burn up from the inside out.

adding some molasses can help give a little boost. Mainly because it feeds the soil, in return making food more readily available to your plant. black strap molasses also has some trace elements in it that you might be a little low on. Molasses always helps my girls out.

So I just got back from the hydro store. Ran into a guy there and just got into a conversation.

He was STRONGLY against running just my basic nutes. He said if I like Advanced Nutrients to run Bud Kandy and Big Bud the whole way through. Good advice? what do you guys think?

If your looking for flowering additives I really like Bud XL. It is similar to a Carbohydrate/sugar product but instead of adding extra sugars into the plant it takes them from the leaves and gives it to the buds. It is a house and Garden product which I will swear by over Advanced Nutrients. I posted this a second ago on a different thread but I worked at a place that used a buttload of AN products until I worked there for awhile and we slowly switched to House and Garden and were able to do plenty of side by side runs of AN and H&G. In our opinion(which every1 has there own) the H&G had much better quality and both had big yields. Bud XL is said to be used from week 3-4 to flush but I use it at first sign of budsites. If you went with Budxl the other product for flowering in that line is Shooting powder which is used the last 3 weeks of flowering as a bud booster. It really is all preference but I would go with Bud XL and shooting powder over Bud Kandy and Big Bud. Hope this helps. The best thing for a new grower to do IMO is run a full easy to understand line. When new growers start they get a bunch of different products from different lines and run into trouble with deficiencies and overfert etc.. My opinion on a new grower using AN there are so many products it may get confusing which is another reason I would suggest using a line like House and Garden or if organic something like Earth Juice which I really liked when I first started out.

well, I thank you for your rec but it seems those are for specific weeks. Which I cannot do with my set up.

I talked to a buddy, who I'm not sure is the most knowledgeable.......

he said do bud candy and Liquid kool bloom

Liquid kool bloom isn't used the whole cycle.. Just the first weeks I believe. The end you use Dry Koolbloom which is different. BudCandy you will use the whole cycle and I do like Amino Acid products. I Believe it is more of a Carb product than anything which I don't use because your plant produces enough sugars as it is. So I take it you are doing a perpetual on the same table? I do the same thing but do drain to waste because it is really impossible to do because plants at different periods in flowering really do use different nutrients.

You can definitely run Big Bud (and Bud Candy) through the whole of flowering if you want, not counting flush. If you want to keep it simple, that's what I'd do.

Molasses is okay if you're growing in soil, otherwise don't risk it. Bud Candy has a better recipe of carbs anyway, and it's formulated for hydroponics and won't attract pests and pathogens as much as molasses will. I've tried molasses in hydro twice, and both times things seemed fine until suddenly the entire reservoir was a tank full of snot. If I can stop ONE person from having to clean (or smell) that, it's worth it. It turns my stomach just thinking about it. I actually spewed halfway through cleaning it the first time. NASTY.
