Is this a banana?

It was just on one cola now i see it on another. The plant is like a week from harvest I think. This room has has no stress so not sure why. It was supposed to be a photo but it seemed to auto on me. It is NL x Big Bug. Ebb and flow. Just a side room test under a T-5 so with the time change now the room leaks a little light after their dark (since it seemed to turn on me i just used the extra light). Other plant in there is diff strain and fine so far but farther behind also.

First pics of the banana

I was planning to do this one again so want to know.

I figure I wait it out and see if they get bigger. Thoughts?

Thanks.

It is a banana indeed, pick it off... typically showing this late will not have any negative effect on your room, if you're really worried just harvest now... she does look good other than the banana!!

Thanks. I checked the plant over carefully and found just 4 of them. 2 pairs on two diff buds. i got them off.

They are turning red rapidly. Faster than I would have thought from past experience. They seemed about 60% 2 days ago and now today look closer to 75% to 80%. So maybe Sunday instead of next week. Its only been 39 days from flip. But like i said it had turned already. It is rated at 45-55 days so if you add 7 to 39 then maybe. Might supercrop but most of it seems ready.

Just tested a little part while it is drying. Found 4 seeds in just one little piece!

Dang. There was no stress in the room so not sure wtf happened. I am using one of these in my next batch so I am a bit concerned. But really concerned how many I am now going to find in my harvest. I saw no evidence of them before chop. They are small.

Only thing i can think of is that this one turned on its own under 24/7 light. Not supposed to be an auto but most of the NL X BB I see are auto so who knows. Its is a great medicine so I really hope it is ok. My fav so far.

I guess I will plant them seeds and see what happens. The blueberry that was next to it has one spot that looks like a seed (10-14 days left on her). Umm.

Sounds like a stress thing. May have been too much nutes, or too little. When we grow indoors, it is imperative that people monitor all variables to rule them out and/or take action to minimize the stress on the plants!

Well I was checking the plant that was next to it today (and not chopped yet) and found two seeds :( So that means both of them have some. I checked another piece of the one that is chopped and found nothing. So hopefully not too many.

If I have to find a plus side I might have just crossed a NL x BB with a BC Early Blueberry. I guess I will plant some of them and see.

So I guess i still let the plant fully finish and just deal with the seeds. I vape so not impossible to dig them out and use it.

I think I may trash my NL x BB clones. I have a Blueberry Gum that is for sure fine and seems to grow much better.

Good idea to just trash that strain?

The non-chopped is rather cloudy but only 40% red hairs or so. Leave it up or chop?

When drying it if the air gets into my other room that is flowering will it seed them?

I checked on these girls twice a day everyday and they grew very well. No idea what happened.

The one i found a seed on this morning sure seems happy. Can not see any other signs. This is just under one 4 foot 4 bulb T5.

yep a nanner.

I got paranoid last time I spotted one and just harvested early (one early harvest vs a whole room seeded was my reasoning).
Afterwards was told chances are slim it would pollinate.

Found this. Maybe I had the first one and that is why it looked so female?

A monoecious cannabis plant is a TRUE hermaphrodite. This cannabisplant will express male and female flower structures on the sameplant. This is the hermaphrodite to be aware of!
A true hermaphrodite sexes as a female early in the flowering cycle. A true hermaphrodite is a ticking time bomb! She/it will seed everything in your flowering room!Environmentally induced hermaphrodite cannabis plants can not betested for, at this time, and do not pose the same risk to the rest of the room. These hermaphrodites are not “true” hermaphrodites and usually pollinate themselves. ANY cannabis plant can be induced to revert to ahermaphroditic state by stress. By stressing a cannabis plant, you have tapped into its inherent survival programming.
