This plant was started as a clone. The seller told me it's a grapefruit cheese.
New growth is showing similar problems on the first 3mm on the tip. Lower foliage is worst.

My environment.

Temp - 70 to 79 degrees.
Method - DWC
PH - constant 5.8 (reliable)
Nutrient - Lucas formula ~950ppm
Lights - HLG 260 v2 , 18 on 6 off

If you are using tap water your cal mag will prob be fine. But I would say your mix is too rich I go by e.c and would have it no higher than 1 in veg and 1.8 flower otherwise you will risk toxic salts. I would rather risk a flush of everything than a build up of salts.

Thanks for your great advice. I will slowly bring down the EC to 1 in the next few days. I will report back in a week.

Post a picture of the whole plant please. Your pH is perfect and i have a feeling the ppms were just a little too concentrated of something. Looks like N or Calmag

Thanks for your reply. I have 2 photos for you here. Let me know if you require more specific pics.
She looks good but I don't go over 600 ppm around that age. I use General Hydroponics at 5.8pH. In veg like that you can even go to 6.1 for better Nitrogen uptake while having a lower nutrient concentration, but 5.8 is fine

Great thanks for your reply. I have lowered my ppm to 650. I will get it down to 600 tomorrow. Do you think I have been experiencing nutrient lock out due to high ppm ?

Excess of nitrogen can lockout other nutrients such as Calcium. How are they lookin?

Excess nitrogen will not affect other elements! It can hurt sulfur's uptake, but besides that, it won't hurt the rest as most of these bottled nutrients contain a nitrate form of nitrogen, not ammoniacal.

Hey all, just a quick update. The plant is growing well. The new foliage is looking pristine. However, some of the older foliage is still experiencing and having the same problem. They are slowly getting worse.

Usually severely affected leaves won't recover, would be best to remove them.
