Is this a normal response to Spider Mite spray?

I am about 2 weeks into flowering and I just got a spider mite problem so I sprayed it down with the stuff I use on my other plants. Its called 'Garden Sage Insecticidal Soap-Insect Killer'

It has worked in the past, and seems to be working now. However, all of the buds of my plant sorta shriveled (the white hairs) up as a response to the spraying.

Do you think the buds will recover? Is this a normal response to spraying with this stuff?

Sorry I dont have a photo, which is why perhaps nobody is helping, but anyone ever experience this? After a spraydown the buds looks sorta shriveled and dried out?
I'm going to continue with the grow regardless, but I'm wondering how much damage I did or if it should be expected to recover.
