Is this because i dont use Cal Mag in hydro?

This girl is Grown in bubbleponics and at the end of the 2nd week in veg. I'm using only AN PH perfect and I followed the advice of both the AN customer service guy and the website and did 2ml/L for the second week. I use zero water and after adding nutes the res was at like 900 ppm. It kinda looks like pictures of calcium deficiency Ive seen and I have read that you must use cal mag if you grow in hydro so, I'm wondering if they were right. The rest of the plant looks good so I'm not super worried, but I am curious about what going on with it.

Look's like classic cal-mag.

When you mix your next batch of nutes, add your cal-mag first. Get the calmag to about 200-250ppm. Then add the rest of your nutes. Provided this is cal-mag def, this solution should stop your problem from getting worse but, wont reverse the damage already done.

Also, 900PPM seems quite high for AN nutes, especially in the 2nd week of veg. Maybe not, depends on the variety you're running but, I like to keep mine at 800 PPM tops, pretty much throughout the grow.

You guys are awesome! thanks for the quick replies. I'll get cal mag asap and dial back the nutes a bit for the next week or so. I guess i should have listened to the writing on the wall and not tried to get away with not using it.

Your PPM is far far too high. That is nutrient burn you are looking at, not cal/mag deficiency. Look up Krondizzel or Superstoner1 on the hydro forums.

Mix with your water and adjust accordingly.... Or spray them with a 2% Epsom salt solution for a little faster results. (my preference)

i know i run up to 1100 ppm in flower with no problem just gotta give them time to go that far i would stop at about 600-700 in veg but def not 900 in week 2 of veg wow week 2 you should be at about 300ppm depending on how the strain takes it
