Is this deficiency or light burn?

I’ve done some searching and I’m not able to find anything definitive, this just started a few days ago. I’m using R.O. Water and adding cal mag. I thought it may be a cal mag deficiency so I watered with our hard tap water and it’s gotten worse. Anyone have any input? It’s pink Kush around week 5 of flower.

Too much calmag probably. I have soft water (0.1EC) so added calmag at the dosage on the bottle. Had similar looking results to yours. This time I cut out the calmag completely and they are healthy as can be. With RO you might need some but maybe try like 1/3 of the amount you were using

I haven't never used cal msg and never seen my leaves do that. Only changing colors if I let it get too cold beacuse I forgot to turn off the ac in my cabin at night because I fell asleep stoned lol below or around 60-65 leaves go purple lol

The thing is, your hard tap water might just have way too much calcium in addition to added cal mag, so my opinion is it's mostly relative to too much calcium.

Please test your water for sure. I didn't even think of that. I have wonderful well water it's amazing. My pH can't get any better.

Are you growing in soil? How wet do you keep the plants?

I am growing in promix HP with added perlite. I usually ph around 5.8 - 6.3. I was adding cali Magic at 1tsp per gallon with plain water and 1/2 tsp per gallon with nutes. Using general hydroponics flora series

In 7 gal fabric grow bags. I water until run off usually a bit less than 2 gal of water per plant. And they dry within 2 or 3 days

Ok, so it sounds like this is probably the issue. I’m going to do a flush and go cut down on the cal mag going forward. Thanks

DON'T flush, my opinion is the problem isn't so severe as to warrant that. You already had one "extreme" by changing the water type, just pick up where you left off with water type and feed without introducing any more "extremes".

What medium are you using?
