Is this lethal to my plant?

Whenever I'm home or sleeping, I'll leave two CFL's on over my plant in my room. Since I have to hide this from my parents, I'll hide my plant if I'm leaving or if my parents are going to be around. I don't leave it in a completely dark place, however, and it's about 13 days old from seed.

What are the side effects of not leaving the lights on it 24/7, but not having the plant in complete darkness? Will it just grow slower? Or is it harmful to the plant?

just make sure you can give it that complete darkness when it comes to flowering though... light leaks can lead to slow flowering and sometimes hermies!

but you have atleast another 6 weeks until you'll even begin to think about needing it... but you will....

and yeah lots of people use a 18/6 schedule (i mean, how often is the sun shining for 24 hours a day? and these plants do grow naturally, =] )

happy growing

24/0 isn't the best way to veg but until you flower this baby it isn't to important to give it total darkness. this only matter with flowering in 12/12. still i would recommend to switch to 18/6 and place the dark hours into the time your parents do the snooping;) sooner or later you gone have to tell them anyway so start slowly on them:D
