Hey guys, thanks for checking in on me.

Im pretty sure this is Powdery Mildew on the leaf, but feel better asking for advice hete. There is also cotton type material forming at the top cola.

We've had heavy rain this week and I've just put a dehumidifier in my basement that was getting up to the %50 rh range.

Cold you guys please offer any helpful advice to go along with the research I'm doing?

Thank you for your quick response.

Hate to bother further, but I've read about milk and vinegar sprays used to help. Would you say controlling my rh is a better action to take than spraying flowering plants?

Grab yourself a sulfur vaporizer and never have to worry about it again. The sulfur vapor will also kill parasites by starving them for oxygen. It has to be used before the last two weeks of flower and any time before.

I have to ask, does the sulfur also do an effective job raising rh? I have extremely dry winters and use a humidifier. does the sulfur act as a fungicide and keep good rh, say, for seedlings?

Thanks for the tip dude. I'm not afraid to invest a bit so a more automated approach could be sweet.

Don't sweat it, they are pretty cheap (about $100). So, it will raise the RH for the time that it is running and while the vapor is in the tent/room. All of the exhaust fans have to be turned off. It isn't something you run all the time and when you do use it, you keep it running for 2-4 hours and then turn it off. Leave the vapor in there until it pretty well dissipates and then you can fire your fans back up. Sulfur vapor has a bunch of uses (including killing mites and PM), it should be a quick google search to get you everything you need. Let me know if you have any other questions.

for anyone using the search in future,

48 hours later:
Removed the visible pm.
Haven't sprayed anything but have %1 milk & baking soda on hand. I have a dehumidifier operating in the room, outside the tent. I purchased a large fan to oscillate across all plants.

~%30 rh and no signs of pm as of now...

I used a milk and water mix on the PM I've had with my current grow. It worked to keep it away for a week or two at a time, but it always came back, even with RH in the 30's. I also bought some GreenCure, which is an organic fungicide made mostly of potassium bicarbonate. It's supposed to be safe to spray right up until harvest. I used it once and, just like with the milk and water, PM came back strong. I'm about a week from harvest and still battling this shit. From now on I'll be routinely spraying as a preventative measure. I had no idea how much of a resilient pain in the ass powdery mildew is.

I'm hoping that being a few weeks into flower, I can keep it in check long enough not to lose much if any.

In my future endeavors I'll be sure to take plenty of preventitive steps!

Like I said, a sulfur vaporizer will solve your problem.

here is the receipt I used last year for a bad case of PM...this year I'm also taking preventative steps and giving them a light spray weekly

1 gallon of water
1 tablespoon of baking soda
1 tablespoon of vegetable oil
1 tablespoon of dish washing liquid

Mix the ingredients together and add them to a spray bottle.

Spray your plants weekly, preferably on overcast days to prevent it from burning the foliage (or just before lights out)

Buy a fungugcide you are only two weeks into flower. Cut off the infected leafs then Spray. Half the bud you buy at the dispensary gets Azamax or worse two weeks into flower. In comparison funguscide is child's play lol. But if it makes you feel better a friend of mine does that and had it tested nothing came up. Before you harvest do a good rinse on your plant with PM wash or tap water. PM is a bitch I am dealing with some right now myself. Good luck brother.

PS. If you decide to go the milk route be ready for your tent to smell like ass for a while.

Lol if that's what happens with quality control at dispensaries, I can only imagine what I'm overspending for has been subjected to.

I highly doubt pm will deter most guys from selling...somehow this makes me feel better lol. even if I smoke some pm, I doubt itl be the first time.
