Is this the right light????

hi i just bought this ge energysmart spiral light bulb....it says 42 watts but really ( 150 watts)...it has 2700 lumens and is really big....the only problem is that the light i had in before was a white light and this one is more yellowish (see pics)....is this ok...or should i just use my old light? thanks

yea i think you want a more white light for veg. like between 2700-4400 k color temp. that yellow is more for veg.

you mean 2700k,you wants 6500k for veg.Which is equal to daylight.

Yes, and you'll need more than 1 of them.
But you can use the 2700 later on for flowering.

wow i have never seen such weak lighting for growing does this actually yeild anything?

The right CFL's make all the difference in the world...This is BlueBerry clones that have been vegging 4 weeks since I took them out of my aero cloner under sixteen 100watt rated cfl's @6500K each

yea thanks. who doesnt know that. but weed adsorbs light best at 4400 k and 6700 k for producing resin. check it out if you dont believe me.
