1) you're an idiot
2) pretty much everything you said is retarded
3) a better term would be "reagan phone", the program started under him, blowhard
4) you're an idiot
5) pretty much everything you said is false
6) you're an idiot
You should listen to bucky he is an economic genius, how he finds time to figure out how to spend others peoples money between correcting grammar mistakes, chronic masturbation, and walking his wife to the waffle house for her late night shift is beyond me. He is a fine example of what are education system is capable of and people say we have a problem HA! Please note chesusrice liked the thread but is unable to count to six, this should speak for itself.

"You cannot legislate the poor into freedom by legislating the wealthy out of freedom. What one person receives without working for, another person must work for without receiving. The government cannot give to anybody anything that the government does not first take from somebody else. When half of the people get the idea that they do not have to work because the other half is going to take care of them, and when the other half gets the idea that it does no good to work because somebody else is going to get what they work for, that, my dear friend, is about the end of any nation. You cannot multiply wealth by dividing it."

don't you have some "greese" traps to help your daddy install or a book report to write, kiddo?

maybe start a "southern bigots unite!" thread, or a manifesto about the inferiority of arabs.

Uncle Buck, You're absolutely right! I am an idiot! I have been an idiot for my entire life! I started working when I was eight years old, and was paying into Social Security by the time I was 13, and I have wasted my entire life this way. While you've pointed out my personal faults, which I totally agree with, you didn't tell me how to get smart. Do I need to work to get fired from my job so I can go on unemployment, or should I just fudge a little on the application and get on Food Stamps first? After years of living this Work Ethic perversion, its going to be hard to break the habit, but perhaps with your mentoring I can do it. Point me in the right direction. I do wonder a little bit about Reagan Phones. Cell phones didn't exist in Reagan's era. So all those people at YouTube calling them Obama Phones should be thanking Ronald Reagan? Correct them Uncle Buck! But when you can, tell me, or suggest to me, the righteous course of life I should be leading, and if you can, you haven't claimed you can, so I don't want to impose, but if you can, can you predict a little of the future for this nation? Start with California, which has progressed so much further than the rest of the country.

okay my version as an ex tatoo shop owner of two, construction companyies, one store,.......... is that as hard as you try to make it as many hours as you spend working you yourself and taking hits for no aparent reson, the harder you try the harder you work sometimes just aint worth the outcome... why because for all the hard work you do some one can easly take it from you and if thats not the case it a few back to back falls that people get you into it can come in many forms legal, marage, straight plane out thievery, or haters that throw a monkey rench into all the hard work you put out and in the end the chassing money nevor makes you happy.... because in the end people will always let you down.. wait think back at all the times you been let down.. it hurts doesnt it.. ??? and like the quote mike tyson seas this is the best thing i like about this guy is he seas, JUST AS MUCH AS YOU BEEN TRYING YOUR BEST TO MAKE IT IN WHAT EVER YOU DO THAT MAKES YOU MONEY!!!!!!!! THEIR ARE PEOPLE TRYING JUST AS HARD TO SEPERATE YOU FROM YOUR MONEY..... SO IF YOU TRAIN AND WORK AND WORK AND TRAIN THIER IS OTHERS TRAINING WORKING HARD TO MAKE YOU STUMBLE AND THATS WHAT THOSE PEOPLE ARE GOOD AT.. FOR EVERY SMILE, YOU HAVE TO LOOK OUT IT COULD BE A VENOMOUS ONE..... GOOD LUCK THATS WHY I LOST MY DRIVE.....people are a fucken trip for realz..

i am so banned that i am not even writing this.

i love the irony of taking a dig at me for venom and hate and then spewing your venom and hate about my totally pathetic garden.

my garden is pretty pathetic, too. ya see, in the northern hemisphere at this time of year, temperatures get too cold to grow most crops, so most of my garden is a compost pile.

it's a good thing i cut and dried my summer crop and brought it inside so that i could trade it for gum and baseball cards.

also, BANNED. THREAD CLOSED.

Yes the "lifeline" program that pays for the "obama phones" (should be called bush phones) started during reagans term and is paid for thru fees charged to all phone companys and passed down to you.

What do you think that line on your bill "universal service" fee is?

I guess it makes you feel happy to call them Obamaphones since it all ties in nicely with Fright wing ideology, stupidity and a little bit of racism.

I bet you are a white republican arent you

But the government doesn't pay ME not to grow stuff. Can I get them to send me a check every time I agree not to grow soy beans? How about them paying me not to grow pot? And this isn't a form of welfare?
Do you have a farm?

If you don't have at least a section of land, then you won't qualify for the programs.a section is 640 acres. It is not a form of welfare, it is a way for government to control demand and prices on certain things. Could you imagine what would happen if every farmer decided to grow artichokes instead of corn? Artichoke farms would go out of business and corn would cost $500 a bushel. Which do you prefer?

I use to think so too, but last year I grew amazing artichoke in the personal garden. all organic and tasty as hell, didn't know what I was missing until I got the good stuff. Most of the store bought stuff is a week old and fertilized with crude oil derivatives.

If you take the roots from cannabis and use it as a soil amendment for Potatoes, you can get individual potatoes that weigh 3-4 pounds each. Best potato fertilizer I ever seen.

i'm sure you're magically different than every other farmer growing GMO corn and that you don't receive about $10-$20 an acre to cover your losses, or benefit from government controlled price floors.

i'm just certain of it.
dude of all people i find it hard to see you complain about farm subsidies. The gov gives subsidies so the price remains low and gives access to all wage groups. Same with milk and every other agricultural subside. the only reason why corn is so well know is because it benefits bio-oil companies which is taboo. It is still an extremely expensive process and lowing raw material cost helps some. The majority of the corn goes to live stock which will lower the cost of eggs & meats ect. keeping the cost of corn low is beneficial to the entire food market Which is why we have such a large subsidy for corn.

On a side note.

Just did a little more reading and corn-ethanol farmers where being taken out by cheaper sugarcane ethanol from Brazil. So what does the gov do we create a special tariff that makes importing sugarcane for ethanol more expensive then home grown corn.

THE USA WAY. We do it the least efficient way. The whole point was to be energy- self sufficient so instead of using the cheaper way and actually making progress the gov is having a circle jerk.

i give nodrama shit for it because he often talks about the ills of government intervention into the free market. i like that it keeps food affordable, but i hate what our food supply has become.

i wonder what would happen if we took all those subsidies away, let food go up to its natural price, and then distribute those subsidies in the form of food stamps to the people instead. same pile of money but if we gave it to the people i bet nodrama would call it a handout or welfare.

well going back to the free market idea for a second. I would say if the gov never started subsidies then natural selection would have taken place. We would probably be using a different crop to feed livestock. It would balance its self out to a stable lvl with no bubbles. We would be producing the most useful produce. When I say no bubbles i mean economically of course. Look what happened this year, we encourage farmers to grow corn, the livestock farmers are used to feed corn, we have a drought and it completely devastated small farmers.

The net effect would be the same. You don't think the $80 BILLION spent on the food programs each year isn't the same as a giant subsidy? Where do you think food comes from? Garage mechanics and office workers?

Perhaps you can make a go of farming over 1300 acres? You got tractors and harvesters and the know-how right? Plus storage facilities and employees right? You DO have all of that right? If not, then you are fucked and might as well starve to death for as much good as you will be in feeding people.
