Is White Widow really what it's pumped up to be?

I am getting ready for my next grow, I want a bomb-ass strain, so far I keep seeing white widow... I haven't smoked that shit in about ten years so I can't remember any of its characteristics... Is it really one of the best? If not, any suggestions?

yep its unreal - nice short busy indica - promotes strong stency buds, real high potency and thc level - easy to grow and easy to smoooke

my advice wud be to grow either:................

W H I T E/ W I D O W OR W H I T E/ R H I N O

both are easy to grow and both are big yielders!

with both these strains make sure you VEG for @ least 7 weeks if growing from seed!

+1. Its fkin bomb for sure and such an easy grow and it seems the ones that yield less do so for a reason, you won't need as much, shits bomb.

wow why is every one so into ww? there are so many better strains i gave my ww away buds plants all of it. i have 10 strains and it was the worst of them

Maybe its because its not the real White Widow.

bought mine at oaksterdam nursery so its a safe bet it was
even my purple goo bag seed beat ww

don't get me wrong its not the worst weed ever it sure beats smokin schwag but there are better strains avalible

Ww is big yielder. Great smoke. Easy to grow.

Each to there own but every one loves white widow and raves about it - why else wud This be? As far as indicas go it's up there with the best - it wudnt have won the cannabis cup if it wasn't top notch. The white shark and rhino are relatives of the widow. All fantastic strains!

I have Nirvana white rhino and love it check out my grow

I grew out some G13s lab White Widow. Was a beautiful plant. Only one main cole, little side branching. Looked amazing all the way through till harvest but the product in the end didnt turn out to what I expected at all. Like the smoke was good and all, the taste was alright but it didnt compare to any real good stuff. White Rhino is a lot better

Black Widow, Shark Shock, Medicine Man, La Nina these are the real White Widow, Great White Shark, White Rhino, and El Nino. Renamed my the original breeder Shantibaba now with MrNice seeds. If anyone cares to read my link above its the History. Anything called otherwise I'd consider a knock off including all of GHS. Even GHS SSH ain't the original plus more.

You are incorrect about the various strains you claimed are true White Widow, well other than the Black Widow since that is what Shantibaba renamed his White Widow after the Green House Seeds breakup. His other strains received new names also, like how White Rhino was renamed Medicine Man.

Shark Shock is not real White Widow. It is a cross with some real White Widow in it.

If you said the strains above were all real true White Widow in your history of the Green House Seeds breakup and then how Shantibaba opened Mr. Nice Seeds and renamed the same strain by multiple names you wrote a piece of revisionist history rather than true accurate history. If you were counting anything that had real true White Widow in its cross, well then just by the fact that they were crosses made using White Widow that means they are not real true White Widow.


The real true White Widow (Black Widow) is all it was cracked up to be but no one should expect the same quality from other breeder's strains (knockoffs) that carry the name White Widow.
