island growing

hey, guys im a new grower in the carribean.. I have no equipment, i just started germing my seeds, onces they crack im going to plant them in pots and set them on my porch in the sun. my question is... once they have germed and i put them in a pot do they go directly into the sun? any other advise?

Once you plant them, cover the top of the pots in saran wrap. It will provide a greenhouse effect, you will see condensation build up on top, and yes after you plant them they go right out side. Make sure your soil is well soaked and you should (if your seeds are good) see sprouts within a few days after germinating.

so your saying after i take them out of the paper towels, plant them, wrap them and put them in the sun til they sprout?

yeah that sounds good. they need a good amount of moisture to sprout. just make sure you dont drown them

alright.. ive been just experimenting to see what works for me right now.. not look for huge yield yet.. so ill do a couple that way and a couple with no wrap and see what happens..

When they sprout, take the saran wrap off.

alright thanks for the advise.. ill let you know how it goes.. these bagseeds arent looking too promising but ive got some early misty coming in the mail soon ... just trying to practice until they get here
