yeah I would do all organic but I cannot claim this soil to be naturally fertile, its hard, red clay based soil that if not broken up makes it just about impossible to grow anything in, I do not think it is that fertile at all either.

AS far as my grow goes, the lowryders continue to show poor results, it looks like they will be growing to about 2 inches a peice, and If I combine every one of their small buds I will get half a gram.

I havent checked up on the plants in the mountains, im loving the rains that having been coming by recently.

I tried growing auto flowering Ak-47 short season and I got less than a gram! it's a relief because I thought it was my growing skills but I think the sun is not strong enough short season for auto! So don't be hard on your self!

Hey guys, after 3 weeks of leaving them alone, I finally hiked up to my plants, to be TOTALLY FUCKING amazed to see that they have grown exponentially. I mean, about 3 weeks ago they were 6-8 inches tall, now they are about 4 feet tall. I am simply astounded.

I forgot to hike the camera up again (doh) but out of the 5 plants I put up there, 4 of them turned out to be female, they are all budding prolifically. I ripped the male and brought him home, took a picture of him. This gives you a better idea of just how nice these females were. What can I do with this guy? he was about 3 feet tall, a little male. Can I make hash out of him? Its just such a small amount I dunno how I could do it.

But yeah check the picture, fan leaves bigger than my hand, and my hand is BIG.

I am so stoked about the sizes of my plants, but I also noticed some problems!!! :(

I was looking at my smaller female, she has these little black bugs on her, not covered in them just little black mite like things crawling around in her buds. I also noticed the pistils are like eaten off at the ends, probably a culprite other than the mites.

I also noticed a lil grasshopper on one of the leaves, these others strange bugs just hangin around the plant gettin high. And some of the leaves have a few holes in them from obvious bug eating, not too many, just a few.

My strongest plant, the biggest one too, does not seem to have any of these mites or pests on it, must be bug resistant or something.

what can I do about these filthy little bugs! I am afraid they are gonna ruin my buds!!!

not much you can do unless you go there often, multiple applications of neem-oil would help, but i would not apply it during daylight

I put some neem-oil on my plants and my plant was half eaten. Fuck that shit.
Most brands require a spreader-sticker along with it, as well as multiple applications like i stated in my previous post. for most pests, it will not directly kill them but it will prevent them from reproducing and eating, which is why you must apply at the right times with the right method

Hey Grassified,

If you are still having slug issues try putting a copper wire around the base. Slugs and snails will not cross over copper. Good luck with the insect control. A grasshopper can really munch. I would try whatever randomKindness suggests..the guy always has good advice.

haha I would if I had that much time on my hands. You guys ever have bug problems?
bugs are my #2 problem right behind people finding my plants. the main bug problems i get are those fucking snails and slugs. the best wait to take care of both with little effort is to buy slugg-o i swear by this stuff. it really does work. its organic and desinegrates after a week or so. only problem is, is when its melting and its in your pots it can mold so just sprinkle around your plot and if your plants big enough it wont even matter. and if its not the slugs and snails that are dining on my fine greens its the fucking ants which are very easy to take care of by spraying soapy on water ON AND NEAR my plants. not too complicated of repelents and they work fine to me. i suggest both methods at the same time.

after about 2 weeks my plants dont have problems with slugs, they go after the stems really when they are young and cut em down. After sometime the stems become to tough for them, I always see skin on the stem torn away from slugs trying to eat my babies after 2 weeks.

Try that copper wire stuff that guy a few posts up suggested...

Btw I made some has from my male. Its really green since I kind of just processed the plant fresh, so its like green hash now, like nothing I have seen. But yeah its almost done drying now ,i just tried to smoke some off a pin, im not high, dont feel shit must be crappy hash, but I am about to smoke a shitload and see what happens.
