Hello everyone I'm in the process of setting up a grow and I've done a few successful ones in the past but it's been a long time and well a lots changed since then.
With that being said I've been reading alot on cfl grows and have followed a few people in those threads so idk if that means those people can see when I post or not but hopefully I get some responses back.
Even though I'm finding that I'm spending most of my days lately just reading and searching for information about my newest hobby It seems as though the more I read the more and more questions I have.
So with that being said I decided to go with cfls because I will be growing in my attic and it gets pretty warm up there and it's not even summer yet so I'm definitely worried about heat being a problem and probably humidity as well and it got to be a little confusing for me trying to piece everything together individually to order online (not alot of options where i live)
so I went with this kit that I'm hoping to be able to veg 4 plants in

http://growershouse.com/cfl-veg-3-x-3-fluorescent-250w-grow-package

Now with that being said I was wondering if anyone has used any of this stuff before and if so what was your experience with it? what else did you need with it?
Im asking so that I could get an idea of what too expect I try and like to plan ahead (key word being try)

and as for what I will be growing in i decided to use

http://m.ebay.com/itm/3-5-gallon-deep-water-culture-DWC-Black-Widow-grow-bucket-Hydroponic-System-/251190271071

I've heard to expect alot of water usage once they get growing but that's fine I have plenty of free time and I'm mostly at home.
As far as seeds go I'm thinking I'm gonna go with
http://www.herbiesheadshop.com/mobile/humboldt-seed-organisation-sour-blueberry-feminised-seeds-3683

Now I know this is alot of info but I hope it helps get my thread going because like I said the more and more I read well you already know
but I guess I'm wondering if anyone has worked with a situation like mines and well just input from you guys and gals in general would be awesome and beneficial.
And in advance thank you for any and all responses
Ps
nutrients are my next biggest interest lol so those are appreciated as well
along with not too technical answers works best for me lol

Just got me a new tent that is a little smaller than that one and like it so far. I am running a 300W LED panel in it. That is actually not a terrible price for that whole setup. I am still a newbie myself, but I use the trio of Fox Farms nutrients and they seem to do pretty well.

I wouldn't worry too much about the actual amount of water used. Just more so keeping up on it and watering at the correct times, not over/under watering etc.

Found a good deal on a 8000 btu portable a/c unit but I'm having trouble finding info on grow room limits.
If anyone could point me in the right direction with a link that helps figure out what i need as for what space I'm using which is a
(3x3x6 tent) that would be friggin awesome lol I'm hoping to be able to get 4 plants in there

Well here's a update

Luckily the weather has been exactly what i expect the summer to be like here hot And humid so my tent and dwc buckets got here just in time lol.
So I set up 3 of the buckets with straight tap water after this
http://www.walmart.com/ip/Filter-for-FM-3333B-NM/39902162

Came I did 1 of the buckets with it.

water temp in all of the 3.5in buckets has been the same
in between 68 and 78.

Tent Temps with the thermometer right above the buckets are a high of
90.7 and low of 71.8 with humidity between 35 and 52% with the higher numbers being at night for both.

As far as the tap water buckets ph has been as high as 7.5 and fell down And holding at 7 with ppms falling from 230 down to 160 in 2 of them with 1 still holding at 230
(How does that happen lol)

I'm not sure of the temp in the attic itself but the outdoor Temps have been in between 84 and 63.

As far as the filtered water bucket
ph started at 7 with ppm of 236 and after adding botonicare "kind" base and grow with the recommended amounts on the bottles for seedling/cutting stage and some ph down
ph came to 5.85 and and ppm was 601.
ph rose to 7 over the next 4 hrs and has been 7 over the last 12 hrs and ppm dropped down 100 a hr down to 400 and is now holding steady at 420 over 1 day
(Lmao ikr waaaay too funny)

So this is what I have too look forward too over the next week or so lol
Monitoring and journaling in my notebook.

Also the ph meter broke already idk how but almost instantly it got foggy on the display and now is stuck with 1.669 also the light isn't in the tent well because I must've made some kind of weird movement when I was screwing it in because at the base of the light it crumpled and broke lol.
But oh well newbie mistakes are gonna happen right another one is on the way
Well there you have it.
