Its Grow Time

Well im all out now from my first ever grow, gave away an ounce and smoked about 1 and a half oz's in 3 weeks or so, now its time for next grow!!! but gonna change a few things. gonna get a 600w mh and a 600w hps for my next grow, i have 9 skunk#1 seeds which will hopefully produce alot of bud if mostly female! Does anyone have any good information on different set ups for closet grows. i.e flood and drain. hydro/areo plus anymore? it would help alot as i got worried about not knowing what the soil was doing inside.. it would be cool to see the roots growing in water but i don't think i've enough space to do hydro in a closet. my space is approx 3x3.5x5ft and like i said i'd like 9 plants in there.
