Happy birthday buddy. Looks like you got some new toys to play with.I'm jealous;-) I'll check with the wife but I believe she can get ahold of some of those plastic skids from work. How many are you thinking your gonna need?

happy birthday man. you'll like those hoods, if i wasn't going all out with my new A/C for the summer i would have kept mine. only suggestion, clean the glass often and put a filter on the air intake to reduce dust on the inside of the glass.

nice little stash you got their, hope to see a bounty in return :)

Hey man Happy Birthday !!

I will check with my wife as well, she works for a distribution outlet. I take it you want those to be plastic and not wood ?

I just talked with her and they have a bunch of wooden ones, but it's a no go on the plastic ones. The only plastic ones they have at the moment are the 4 they use to load UPS shipments with. (and are stamped US postal service)

She is going to keep an eye out for some though, never know what they'll get on some of those freight trucks. (cant make any promises though)

She got me these 4 plastic pallets last year.

These ones are tall though. They look like 6 plant pots hooked together. I was thinking about using these for drain to waist hydro out by the vegetable garden, or build a green house with these built into the floor.

I do have a 4 by 8 MDF (shrink wrapped with white pvc coating) platform. It's 6" tall (was used for displaying Mannequin's at shows) and is in good shape.

My wife says I'm a pack rat, but I only save stuff if it's worth saving.
I will try to stop down to my shop and get a picture of the above mentioned platform so you can see what it looks like.
Peace,

At my local Wally they have stacks of those plastic pallets. Well over 200.

You could try there as well, they might sell you some of their older ones.
