IUNU Dual Plasma

I wouldn't jump into the game until sulfur plasma is more affordable...........it's a dual spec mh plasma with horrible bulb/light engine lifespans compared to luxim. 3000hrs for the red band is a joke imo, should use monochromatic leds instead like chameleon.

Psuagro,
Thanks I knew I could count getting honest independent feedback. I did notice bulb hours not aware of light engine lifespan issues. Luxim?
Reps I spoke too assure bulbs last a year, assurances on reliability and warranty coverage. .Yada Yada ya...

Still curious about anyone with actual experience in a grow? My understanding spectrum full like sun with the proper UV light with super low energy cost.
So regardless of initial cost equipment reliability I can't help but be curious what the outcome looks like in a grow next to 1k HID?

First time poster, long time reader - I'm really curious about this iunu plasma lights too, and admittedly, I bought one recently because I was pretty sold on the spectrum. I just took clones under them and they rooted in 7 days. Pretty happy so far.

I emailed iunu and they said 4% degradation at about 1 year, assuming 16hrs per day. That sounds like they would like you to repurchase bulbs after 1 year, but 4% doesn't sound bad. I'm planning on running mine for longer. I don't even think you can replace the luxim bulbs. According to iunu as well... there bulbs have more red and they also don't emit UVC from the plasma bulb, where as the Luxim does. The fact that the fixtures are built only 30min from where I live was also a selling point for me. Get that made in the USA customer service.

I thought about going the chameleon route, but it seemed like you were just paying them to slap LEDs onto the side of gavita plasma. I'd rather buy the LEDs separately and get better coverage by spreading them away from the plasma fixture.

I also looked at Rocket, but frankly, their fixture seemed pretty basic and was half the output of the iunu plasma light.

I also follow this guy on instagram: https://instagram.com/tetragardens/ He seems to be having great results.
