I planted a germinated Sour Apple auto flower seed that didn't pop up after 2 days, went pretty light on the water so I thought it was dead. Grabbed the 2 gallon fabric pot and tried to excavate the dead seed...couldn't find it and planted another Sour Apple.. now a day later it looks like the original seed has popped up towards the side of my pot and I'm expecting the 2nd one to be popping up in the middle soon

What should I do ?

Let them grow… never heard of an orgy pot? Multiple autos planted in a large pot. I know yours is a small pot but could be successful. Other option is to kill one or cut the bottom out of your pot and transplant into a big pot.

Then train them away from each other, put them under a Scrog net.

I wouldn’t, the transplant of the one removed might stunt it. Better to just grow both in the same pot.
Even if it's like 2 inches from the edge of pot? It's really close to edge...waiting to see if this 2nd pops up in middle..do you think 2 autos could make it to flower in a 2 gallon?

I had this situation before. I gave it a week and kept the strongest seedling in the biggest pot. Then ripped out the little one with no care, literally just a bit of tap root and popped it into a 1 gallon.

Glad I did as the more vigorous seed produced over 7 ozs of smooth vanilla smoke

Pretty sure… they’ll share a rootball by the end but should flower fine. I’ve seen 3 in a 3 gal trained out and looked like it was gonna yield decent.

There can be a big discrepancy between seeds! Some can be twice as vigorous as the others.

Thats why I’m moving to planting 3 seeds at a time and selecting the strongest one. A bit like general horticulture practice.

Cause for me 30 smackaroonies to grow over 1k of bud is a price worth paying! Also sucks putting a lot of effort into a runt for little reward

Update .. both up ..in 2 gallon fabric pot ..should I just let them go in the same pot
I’d move one of them now. The pot is too small to sustain vigorous growth from two plants, especially if you plan some training. Most of us have repotted autos with no issues, but I’d say the risk of issues is greater with crowding the single pot. Replant or remove on of them. Neither has much root at this point.

Still havnt pulled one yet ..the 2nd one that popped up seems to be growing faster .. will they still make it to harvest if u leave both in there ? I'll prob transplant soon

if your quick, you will transplant b4 the fine roots start to get too big, longer you leave it, the more damage you do to one or both of them.
ive learnt to plant seeds near the side of the starter pot, and put a label stick where i planted it, then if it dont pop, i plant another the opposite side of the pot, then if both pop, you can just repot one of them
