I've learned the secret to nutes

Ok, so after a year of growing I've found out that all this nutrient mumbo jumbo is all a bunch of BS! Buy this, buy that. Stupid. Here's an example of my method:

10' x 20' warehouse space
10 x 1,000w lights

I would expect a yield of 2 per light or about 20 per harvest. Based on my expected yield I calculate reservoir size. For every pound I calculate I will need 1 gallon per day, I then multiply this by the estimated number of days the plants will be in veg and flower. In this example the total reservoir size we need is 2,240 gallons for 56 days of veg plus 56 days of flower, 112 days total.

Now here's the kicker, my nutrient mix:
2,240 gallon reservoir of RO water
6,720 grams or about 15 lbs of Jack's Pro 5-12-26 Hydroponic formula (3g/gal)
4,480 grams or about 10 lbs of Calcium Nitrate (2g/gal)
1 tsp of calcium hypochlorite every 3-5 days. (0.0005tsp/gal)

That's it. I just run that res from rooted clone to harvest. Same exact 1.5 EC the whole way. Heck if you do DTW you don't even need to pH. When the plants need more nutes they simply drink more of the universal nute mix. Adjusting nute strength is BS!

Before you say this doesn't work. I have been testing this method for the past 6 months. I have used hydroton, rockwool, coco, lol even organic soil. I have used it dtw or recirc makes no diff. I have used it in low pressure aero, ebb flow, dwc, makes no diff. From 1kw to 10kw+.

List of strains I've ran from start to finish, i always hit at very least 1.6 lbs per light no matter what strain, my chem d hits about 2.5-3, my deep sleep hits 2.2-2.5 per 1kw.

Harlequin
Vortex (God's Pussy pheno)
Strawberry Tahoe OG
Lemon OG
Heavy OG (Cali Love)
Chemdawg D
Deep Sleep
Cheese Quake
San Fernando Valley OG
New York City Diesel
Chembrado ( seed from hermie chem d, I use ethephon for hermies now)
Moon Walker
Super Moon God #1 (SMG)
Super Moon God #2 (SMG 2)
White Widow x Big Bud
Northern Lights x Big Bud
Chronic Thunder
Pineapple Express
Blackberry Rhino
Animal Cookies
Fukushima OG

No. That was just an example. I only mix one huge res once from rooted clone to harvest though. In the above example total nute costs for the whole 112 days would be about $50 total. That's it.

I also run the same nutes and strength when using or not using co2. And co2 levels of 1500ppm is retarded lol I use 700-1000 from rooted clone to harvest, even at night.

Any pics of all this goodness? :)
There are over 10 different strains in rockwool, hydroton, coco, soil, or a combo of mediums. All grow fine, from the most indica to the most sativa. In the pic you can see Cheese Quake, Harlequin, Chemdawg D, Strawberry Tahoe OG, among many others. Some are hand fed, some ebb flow.

Finished product 1 week cure Pineapple Express from G13Labs seed:

Levels of 1500 work awesome in DWC with trees.

Each system / medium has it's own sweet spot.

I run very large DWC trees each under 1kW. These need 1500.

I've ran trays and they top out at 1000ppm.

With small plants you can get away with erring on the low side. ;)

That's just the thing, 1.5 EC of jacks pro hydro/calnit seems to be the sweet spot for every strain, grow media, or system I've tried. If I drop to 1.4 EC I see yellowish tips (underfed) if i bump up to 1.6 EC I get brown tips (burn). Tell me why? Rooted clone or 12 oz plant at day 40... no damn diff 1.5 EC.

Also, If I cut calnit any further at all it will cause woody stems. The plant will look perfect otherwise but becomes very difficult to clone. This is the same for all soil, hydro, aero systems ive tried. How this affects flower I do not know.

Lol I actually even tried it outdoors on a Chembrado plant that was showing yellowing. Flowered and harvested just fine.

Also one should back off the calcium nitrate for the last weeks.
I don't change nute strength ever. I also do not believe in flushing or lowering nutes if no leaf tip burn or stem discoloration. I have done many blind tests diff strains flushed and unflushed. Test proved no diff in taste, smell, but quite a yield loss when flushing.

I believe you! I am ditching all the bottles and going to use jacks classic / bloom for my soil and lucas formula for my hydro.

I started with Lucas using GH MaxiBloom but the Jack's Pro mixes much better and runs much cleaner. Best part, it's only $90 for 50lbs worth.

Before anyone says 'blah blah blah, quality, taste...', at least post a bud that rivals mine in looks. Put up or shut up. All for less than $0.02 a gallon.
