Jack Berry grow

Hey everyone hows it going. This is my 2nd grow. 1st time growing hydroponically. Im 8 1/2 weeks in and i just wanna get it right. Im really depending on this crop. I have some pics for u all and sorry i cant get a good pic of the trichs. The sugar leaves have the cloudy trichs with about 1/4 being amber. The actual buds have all cloudy trichs with very very few being amber. Do u guys think they look ready to harvest or should i let em keep going. I completely snapped a branch when i was changing out the res on some ones in there 3rd week of flower. The last pic is of buds that were chopped at 7 and a half weeks. Im interested in others opinions. One more thing... is it better to be a week early or a week late?
Thanks

I'm not an expert, but the two things I have gotten out of all the information, 1) When the white hairs have been pulled back into the bud 2) When you have 20% amber trichs. Supposedly they continue to change during drying.

Good Luck and I'm sure someone with experience will help

If there is ANY amount of amber trichs on the actual buds, it's finished. It's actually finished when all trichs are milky white. The earlier you harvest the more CBD you tend to get, while later harvests will have less CBD. Some strains are known to develop more rich terpine profiles if you take them a little later, but all - in - all.. that's done. Atm it's just a matter of preference. If you have flushed it (I would personally harvest it as soon as it's flushed.)

Thanks for the responses. I have been flushing for a week and half now. I think i shalll cut em down tonight. Atleast most of the tops.
