Hey guys,

I have 2 jack herrahs going from seed.
both about 18 days old. as u can see the picture of them side by side.
one is clearly much healthier than the other. now i starteed them
in random pots i found around the house and one happened to be a little bigger than the other.
im hoping thats the problem and once i get them in their final homes (10Gal fabric pots) this week
sometime maybe even today shell be able to stretch her legs and get better. but maybe their something
else going on? bcuz its smaller and purple veins and lite green yellowish im thinking stress? or not enough root growth?
but those are guesses. anyone with concrete help would be really appreciated. thanks.

The difference in size is def because of the pot size!!! but for the yellowing i think its a def in something! but as for the purple veins is actually a good thing! you shouldnt be worrying about that!

As far as I have ever seen, plants won't typically outgrow -- width wise at least -- their pots. I had two clones in small 4" pots and they stayed small for over 2 months (I had no space for them in bigger pots). I decided to put them outside due to space, and now they are getting much bigger.

thanks for the input good sir. ya i figured the pot size was affecting the size. and their both jack h's so if that purple vein
wasnt from stress wouldnt the other one have them too? theyve had exact same temps and light times since
birth lol

ya thanks brother. these babies are def ready for transplant no doubt about it. but like i said the soil is the same in both.
and the one on the right looks mad healthy you know? no def. of any kind. no bad coloring. good growth.
their both topped already obv lol and like i said i will hopefully get them in new homes today or tommoro and maybe that will fix it.

its not letting me like your posts for some reason bro jericho. but ya that makes sense.
both from the same oz bag of Jack tho is that possible? lol cuz i imagine they came from same plant.
can one plant produce seeds with various pheno types?

Afaik, you can have different phenos from the same "mother", just as not all twins are identical. Just the way the genes express themselves.
