Thanks for the kind comments!
Welcome aboard! =)

The NL was a curious turnaround. It was nearly a week late compared to the Purple Haze. I germinated them together wishing to make it a side-by-side grow of both those strains. Meanwhile as the NL wasn't showing any good promise I quickly germinated the Purple TrainWreck to be sure I'd have 2 plants for the side-by-side. Thing is, when I finally decided to pluck the NL and give it it's final rest my girlfriend said she wouldn't let me, and that she was certain it would grow out.

I doubted this, but put it in a little pot nonetheless. Alas it grew, and since the pot is so much smaller, the roots grew faster to the bottom reservoir, making it jump in growth while the others in the big pots where still stretching roots looking for water.
SO now I have a side-by-side-by-side xD Let's just call it a three way and be over with it =P

My Cinderella is just like you described your first one. Trippy and racey. Uplifting and smooth. Makes for great gaming and great sex. Gotta love it. Too bad it wasn't such a great yielder in my experience. My blueberry had nearly double it's yield.
How did yours do yield-wise?

Oh, and just as a minor update, I lifted the bigger pots nearly a foot from the ground, and now they are already in the process of filling my screen. It looks like it'll work alright, and by now I'm questioning wether if it'll be overkill in my tent. I might have set myself up for a tiny jungle in there. Let's see and hope for the best.

A new photo update shall come in a few days.

Keep on rocking guys.

haha my Cindy was exactly the same. I would also get that positive feeling in my chest and a big smile on my face, feels like everything is so wonderful. But it went even crazier. If I made cookies from her and ate them with my friends. Sometimes I would end up for 3 hours laughing my ass off. Depends on a company but it was always bringing loads of laughter. But cookies would take 1.5hour to start working. Mine was a low yielder too. with big plant that had already troubles holding its airy buds I got like 37g..
this is it's grow journal, check at the bottom how did it look in the end.

Hey thanx for that link! I enjoyed that =)

Gotta love those wacky looking flowers, all covered in snowy goodness.

You should try Sleestack, I reckon you would love it. Not a huge yielder either though... But the high... damn. =P

Never heard of Sleestack, but I see it's gen. tree has some real nice parents. Like G13H, DNA Sharksbreath
What kind of high is that? Similar to Cindy?

Can't wait to see your screen picture update. Man that tent already looked tight, now with this screen, where do you find place lol..

Sleestack is this fast riding euphoric trip. It smells very alike the c99, and behaves alot like it too. Only it's clearer and more exciting/uplifting. Taste of citrus with pine.
Quite the ride. Too bad I only got around to harvesting 9g of it when I ran it. N00bs... haha

(for those who don't know, this is a Sleestak)

I did cross it with a hermie Devil's Weed though, so I expect to have some nice phenotypes among all the seeds it gave. Here's to hoping, anyway.

Today I finally installed the definite ventilation, and temps have stabilised at 27ºC. A bit hotter than I was expecting, but they seem to be enjoying themselves. Praying alot to the bulb god, they are.

I'll take some photos tomorrow, it's quite incredible to see a plant make so much progress in just a few days! I'm always amazed.

Stay tuned for a fresh update soon. =)

Without further ado, here are the pics, freshly taken.

SO, as you can see, the screen is starting to fill in with their lovely pre-flower stretch.
The Northern Lights is winning on the screen fill count right now, given that it was the one closest to the screen from day one.
Next is the Purple Haze which has some clear signs of sativa in it and I'm pretty sure it's going to stretch all along into the screen. Can't wait too see how the buds will looks...
Lastly, the Purple Trainwreck is the youngest of the group, but is tagging along very nicely. I'd say growth-wise it's behind the others by 2 days or such. But surely enough it'll start kicking some ass as soon as those budsites start peaking more and more through the screen.

I've been doing come light managing of budsite positioning on the screen, but not much I can do for now but wait until everything gets bushy.
I love the organisation stage. Gives the grower the opportunity to plan and design your plant structure as he likes, making for greater grow efficiency.

Damn, can't wait for a full screen!!!

Have a great weekend guys!

Screen is filling nicely. Today I will defoliate the lower branches, weaklings and useless fan leafs.

I cut them out with pruning scissors and then dab honey on the open wounds to prevent infections and to minimise healing shock on the plant.
I don't know if it's scientifically helping my girls, but I've always done this and it seems to help recovery times, so yeah.

Anyway, good new, the NL shot pistils at me so I'm a happy guy. The Purple Haze is also a confirmed girl.
Now I'm just waiting on the younger Purple Trainwreck to show us it's lady parts and we'll be set.

Anyway, here's how things are looking right now.

Yes, it is filling in nicely. Adapting to smaller spaces is something very cool around here.

NugBuckets made himself famous this way. :0)

Good luck,

Man you take some of the best pictures around here. Are you in 12/12 right now? Looks like it is going to get pretty tight in there.

Fingers crossed for 3 girls and 1 happy dude! :hump:

I'm really hoping for a complete fill. It's moving nicely, but since it's only a 150w bulb I know it's not going nearly as fast as it could... Can't wait for the time when I'll be able to make a nice upgrade...
Have been considering LEDs. It's a big investment, but the bills get cut down and the Watts go up. Also I've been seeing some impressive LED grows...

May do it.

Thank you for that! It means a lot to me when people comment on my photos. =)
And yeah, I'm in 12/12.

Also, as of now I am proud to announce I have 3 girls in the room! =) So yeah, I am one very happy dude =)

Here's to hoping the NL never hermies. I'm pretty confident on the others though.

Quick photo update!

SO I left them for the weekend and came back to some nice stretch and fill. It's getting closer to where I want it, but it's still got a little more to go.
Right now, the screen is about 70% full. As in plant growth, not in bud-sites per screen opening.

I've been organising nodes and every time I try to count them I end up loosing count or damaging something, so I'll just let it be for now, and let them do their thing.

As you can clearly see, I also defoliated all of the useless mess under the screen. This way it not only airs out and allows for awesome air flow but it also makes for a growth concentration on the top nodes. So far, so good.

Anyway, as I've said before, they are 3 CONFIRMED GIRLS!!! So now let's keep our fingers crossed for some beautiful purple buds!

Here they are:

Looking good, I still believe you should have vegged longer or just done the reg horizontal screen because I don't see you filling up that screen quick enough with the stretch, what week are you ? 3?
Get a a-51 150rw....it would be perfect for that space and will at least double your yields over that 150:weed:

You're right in about everything you said haha

Thing is, I couldn't veg any longer because I'm a student and I leave for Christmas Break, making for a tight schedule. This leads to a less than full diagonal ScrOG this time around. It's okay for me though...
Right now they are half-way through their 3rd week since the flip and strech is already slowing down. On the other hand I'm glad, because my 150 would have a tough job covering the whole area of the screen without me having to move it farther from the plants. This way everything is still under the bright shine and the bulb is very very close to them. So, let's keep at it and see what it brings.

Anyway, I think you just convinced me to get that LED light =P
Why do you recommend exactly that one? Is it great? do I have any cheaper alternative?

Thank you for the input =)

Also, know of any European product that would be comparable?

I'm in Europe, so shipping that big ass box over here will be very costly for my budget =P

Oh you are in Europe? I would go with Hans LED then. Start with his 80w one and if its not good enough add another one down the road. I KNOW it will do bwtter than that 150.
I think his site is called bonsai hero or somehthing along those lines. Google it and see, he's in Europe as well

I don't know how handy you are but @SomeGuy made his own LED's. You may want to check out his grow. I want to make one of them I am just waiting to see how his results are. Which they do like fantastic.

Someguy rocks and his lights seem to be really working well.

Vitamin's input was spotless too. Hans panels are in Europe and are
very well spoken of here. (my impression is that two might be needed here)

Good luck,

JD

Thank you for your kind and informative inputs guys.
Because of you I am now making shopping carts and lists to find out how cheap I could make one of those SomeGuy lights for.
If I can't make them for cheap enough I will be acquiring a 80w Hans LED Pannel for my future grows!

Thank you once again for your opinions!

hm I was wondering if diy price would not be similar to that bonsai hero price. If I'd be saving like 30eu, then I'd rather buy, but if you can get it all for 100eu, then I'd be really interested in peaking to your list :)
