Javadog's Next Adventure

Good morning all.

I have been doing cloning, Veg-work, and up-potting in the Veg area.
(lol, wrote "Vag area" at first)

I pulled the Malawi, as I am not ready to deal with Males yet.

I pulled the Trainwreck #1 because #2 was better.

I am eyeballing the plants in flower, looking to guess how far
out we are from putting new plants into the tent. Grandaddy Purps
is due to come out next, with Aliendog Ether-cut, Triple OG, and
Plushberry due to come out after that.

GDP is at the end of seven weeks, and the next three are about two
weeks back from it.

So, today will be a Veg update....but a few words on the tent right now:

- The GDP is finishing well. The yield is nil. but that is due to my hamfisted
Vegging of this and a few of the other now-known-as-sensitive Clonlys that
I got recently. I really did give it what it needed, after some point, but the
damage was done and the plant was just a runt. relatively speaking.

- The Triple OG Kush (AKA "XXX") is making the densest nugs that I have
grown so far, at least that is the impression that I am getting. The branches
are all getting pulled down to the bucket rim, and there are two weeks left
on this plant.

- The Blackwater OG (SFV OGK X Grandaddy Purpr) is dominating the tent.
along with....

- The Ace Purple Haze did end up getting two tops out of the direct light, but
we are in week 10 and I think that I will make it OK. Only two more months to go! :0)

- Plushberry: this one buds all along every branch......will want to Veg this one bigger
next time.

More on "The 'Dubs" later, and much more on the Veg situation.

"Mort" indeed...I am pulling the Chemgerine....balls all over....this looks
more like a true Hermi than I have seen....both sort of flowers, and not
nanner from buds....

OK, I am having to pick the next up....lol, there I was intending
to "mock" having to do this, to better judge what is ready....and
now I really have to.

I am going to put Skunk #47 into the tent.

It is indicated:

We are going to see some "seed vigor" in the tent...whew...I missed that! :0)

A few comments on the other plants....

#4....that is my previously crisped Green Crack Clonly (some of these
are SO sensitive, as I found the hard way) I down-potted the Tahoe
and Chocolope that reacted similarly. NO LAUGHING! (LOL :0)

I do not worry about these things....this is the cost of moving fast
and learning quickly as one goes. Take a look at the Blue Dream Hazes
for example.....I had to come up to speed on these two, and I can
tell you that the people at HSO, whose BDH I have grown, made a point
of enhancing the genetics of their offering with some strong crosses...
....because their product behaves nothing like with the BDH or the
BDH X Island Sweet Skunk that are #6 and 5 respectively.

The BDH has really gotten going, and has been tied down as a result.

The BDHXISS is way behind it, time-wise, but is already looking to
need some LST too.

Now, of the "most ready" plants, there are two types, those strong ones
from recent seeds, and known breeds that deserve a re-grow.

The seed-plants are Skunk #47 and BCBD's GSC (#3). The re-grows are
Smelly Cherry (#1) and TGA's Apollo 13 BXed to Vortex (#2).

I recently added the from-seed Green Crack, from Cali Connection,
(#8) and the Clonly Aliendog (Ether Cut) (#7) to the buckets.

I would be bursting at the seams, wanting to start these other breeds,
but I have to work on Real Life these days.

Phone Interview today. Great entre from former colleague. I must nail this one.

Wish me luck!

P.S. A few more photos to add, then I am off to prep.

Such a shame, and to think I just watched a recent movie of his.

Money doesn't buy happiness. Family, friends and love do. Money is just putting the cherry on top but you don't always need it.

You'll be missed Robin. You inspired me to become a comedian at a young age. Thanks for all you did man!

I am afraid that the downslope can be hard on some...often
hardest on the very talented, as they can deal badly with less.

George Sanders is a great example. He was too bored it seems,
but was such a talent when alive.

George:

(think of the voice of the Tiger "Sher Kahn" in Disney's "The Jungle Book")

Resilience might be the most important skill (if the term skill applies...)
