Not sure if you need to worry about uptake yet..I could be wrong but it sounds like a typical "cart before the horse"
Bio-ag humic and fulvic acids is the short answer(JUST NEVER USE WITH CHLORINE), but I think you would be better off learning why it works before you use it.
Just know that Monsanto also has a company called Bio-ag. They are NOT the same company
