At annual White House Correspondents' Dinner event, comedian Jimmy Kimmel challenged President Obama on the recent crackdown on medical marijuana dispensaries, using humor to speak truth to power.

That was awesome, Jimmy is my hero! It was especially great when he asked the audience to raise hands if you have not smoked pot, and told the President that the large majority of people think it's an important issue.

Hopefully only few more months of the traitor Obama in freedom. Then once he has been ripped from his illegal power we can prosecute this basterd for the crimes he has committed.

I think this was great. It will be one of many reminders the president will get on the campaign trail this summer. Medical marijuana users and supporters vote and are extremely pissed off about the actions of the Obama Justice Dept against medical marijuana. The executive branch has the power to change the scheduling of marijuana and I don't intend to vote for Obama if this change is not made.

Well, if you want to talk about political choices at the federal level, there is actually no choice at all. The next step for the fed is to reschedule marijuana. The democrats are the only party that will consider doing that, if we do not re-elect them, it will not happen. The only time it will happen is in a second term.

Let's face it, if McCain was elected, we would not have ANY dispensaries now. And if Romney is elected, we won't have any MMJ at all, and the War On Americans will continue.

Well, I've been a card-carrying Libertarian for 25 years, but now I vote Democrat because the Republicans are hurting us more.

Obama is probably gonna change his campaign to "legalize marijuana" to win over the voters in the new election.

That would be nice

I'd say just about anybody besides Romney or Obama. God help us if either them win. Can't trust a single one of them.

Agreed! did you see how few people raised their hands? it was maybe 3 people.

He should legalize it! the people that would get pissed off at him for it, wouldnt vote for him anyway!
