Subscribed! I ordered a pack of walkabout with this year's order.

I don't think I'm going to germinate them for this season though. Genetics look awesome though!

Yes.. but if you could I highly recommend you for go the 4foot x 4lamps (http://www.plantlightinghydroponics.com/new-wave-216w-6500k-20000-lumens-4ft-t5-fluorescent-grow-light-p-1928.html) over the 2foot ones.. however if you're vegging just 10 plants then you're good with 2footer.. mine were 20.. now they overgrew the lights.. shame shame :]

That's fine, what strains you're growing now?

2footer will do you right, what seeds are you growing?
im currently trying out my first grow...12/12 outside all year round...so i gave it a try...but things are going really slow...so for future grows..im looking for an alternative to veg for a month or 2,depending on how it grows ..then place them outside under the sun...

and for me it is a real surprise to see your plants.

thats why i asked if you still have em on 24/0, cause i thought that these plants take the dark period to actually grow...

if you were in my situation, would you still get this http://www.plantlightinghydroponics.com/new-wave-96w-6500k-2ft4-lamp-t5-fluorescent-grow-light-p-1934.html , veg for a month or 2 with the light on 24 hrs a day straight for the 2 months and then place them outside?

your thread is really inspiring to me...thanks mate!

If I were in your shoe I'll give them 18/6 a MONTH of indoor veg, once you gain a little experiences give them 24/0 for your 2nd grow.

Growing weed is easier than growing peanuts and pickles.. it seems hard because we want to "GET IT PERFECT" been there.. believe me I've been growing for quite some times and there's plenty errors to make.. no such things is prefect.. just great improved from the old :]

And yea grab http://www.plantlightinghydroponics.com/new-wave-96w-6500k-2ft4-lamp-t5-fluorescent-grow-light-p-1934.html it's what turns my babies into beauty.. next grow I'll just settle for 10.. I overplanned this time :)

Here an updated on my lovely cloning project.. and woohoo!! the weather is getting warming and beautiful by the hour.. love it!!

1 - Clone top
2 - Fimmed babe
3 - Clone box

Feel free to drop any comments even if it's a dumb silly ones, enjoy! :hump:

how experienced should one be to run lights 18/6 or 24/0 ?

i guess 18/6 is more difficult cause you have to play with timers etc etc .. 24/0 you just leave it there...

Both are the same, it' just that 24/0 is hassle free..

Buy a "auto-timer" if go by 18/6.. it'll now be hassle free :]

I prefer 24/0, it's makes your baby grow faster, stronger, healthier before heading outdoor :] Remember to just place the lights 1/2 to 1 inches away.. further than that will causes them to stretch.

would you advice to set the lights at 12/12 once you received your desired vegging height? For a week or 2 before placing them outside? or would the 36 hr dark period be better for shocking(shocking might not be the correct term, but you catch my drift) them into flower?

Plants are looking great, my friend.

You still planning to put them outside the first week of May?

Your plan is to have them in "FLOWERING MODE" once they hit outdoor? If yes.. then it's NOT possible as the sunlight in summer times penetrate anywhere from 15/9 so your plants would just RE-VEG itself and will flower back in July-August.

If you want to harvest buds during summer time you NEED "Auto-flowering" strains.. it's cool cuz it has a internal clock and it'll flower and die within 4months or so regardless how long the sun shines in summer or winter times :]

Your question is cute :]

With the way and speed of their growing they'll hit the door next week.. I'm waiting for the grass turning green so their can safely camouflage the background :)

Dude, I hope you have taken your plants out of the cups. They look good, but I bet the roots on those babies need some space. I started around the same time you did and put mine in the ground already and when I did.....Man the roots on them bitches were ridiculous. I bet you have massive roots when you transplant. You have outgrown the cups pimp.

I bet you're right ^^

Just a little more.. a couple more days and they'll be wild wild outdoor.. I'm sure they can take a little bashing and harassing when they're this old :]

What latitude you're from? My nights still drops just a little below 50s but are rising :)

Seedlings in deeper/bigger cups or pots is ideal for outdoor-leads to bigger better root systems and plants, you'll be fine though

I'm in Georgia. Our lowest temps are around 53-56 at night. Usually above 60F though. My plants have thick stalks/leaves and can take the occasional drops to those temps easily. Starting Wednesday we will be in the 60s on the regular for a while.

Those are beautiful. Mind telling me how the smell was at 3 weeks? I need to know b/c i wanna keep mine indoors for a little while longer.

I'm waiting for the temps to rise too lol, taking foreverrrr, I thought April nights would be warmer
Totally agreed.. couple years before the weather usually already reaches 60-70 degrees... must be global warmer ^^

Lucky you.. my nights usually drops to 33-45.. heard anything below 45 will shock or kills the plants.

Smells fruity.. no skunky at all so you're safe. Over a month the skunkiness starts kicking in until then I shouldn't worry :)
