Yeh man she's fine, she's lovin the heat, pics dont do justice, if you saw in person you would know there's nothing up with her chill man, plants can take alot worse shit than a lil heat

me knows mate.. if you say she looks OK I believe you when do you think they will flower?

the two auto's should start flowering today or tomorrow hopefully, they are about halfways done so only a month of flowering(the best bit!) and i got some smoke! epicness...

I have zero experience with autos, but are you sure they only flower 1 month? ... I never heard of any plants that need less than 6 weeks of flowering... might be something there I expect mine to be another 2.5 months until ready.....

The fast bud takes 60days from when you germ the seed to crop, so as it goes, one month gone, 1 month to go EPIC

Update: Speed Devil had maggots in the water and soil so taken out of room and will be destroyed. Also put all Red spec bulbs in now with makeshift light fitting which i hope will uphold... Give some pics in few days

Hey guys, so 2 plants left now, 1 auto 1 reg fem.. I'm hoping to change the light to 12/12 in a day or so to put the chronic into flower as i dont want it getting too big now =) Here's some pics to keep ya busy til then =)

Looking great man. Also sweet idea with the lights... tho' you might want to consider what you will do when they will be bigger. You will have to adapt lighting to touch the lower side of the plants too. Looking really sweet tho', love it! How much longer?

Hey herby, shouldn't be too much longer, gonna sort the light period out tonight at 8. give em 12 hours of darkness for the first time, then they will be on from 8am til 8pm =) should be tidy =) Hopefully start to see some pre-flowers in the next week !! Wish it would show the sex sooner! Grr... but they look like girls to me i see couple of lil white hairs, but still not sure like. Will update any news ASAP. Peace guys!

Just an update as i'm thinking of putting them into 24 hr darkness before I put them into 12/12 schedule. Any ideas on this?

Alrite lad, Just a quick 1 ,I thought you had an autoflowerer in there, if you 12/12 it, you will lose half your yield on it, You need to give em at least 20 hours a day, some people even grow them 24/0 to maximise the yield, More light per day = More bud, in the case of autos. I know you have a photoperiod plant in there aswell so it's tricky what to do, I would leave the normal plant to veg a little longer if i was you, Worst case scenareo it will get tall but should rootbound stopping it from getting any taller. I don't know if this will do any damage other than stunting growth which isn't a bad thing if space is a worry.Then you can flower but don't know how big it will get after another 4-5 week veg, if some1 else has experience on rootbounding a plant to keep them smaller and the effects please input. Nice1

Hey man, cheers for the info, but the auto i aint really fussed how much i get, its just in there for a smoke in the mean time =) and i want to put the chron into flower now as its bushy as hell and there aint much room in here. Most plants double to triple in size when flowering right? so if it starts flowering now, it should be perfect height.. Its built up a good system. If you're snowed in tomorrow pop up and take a look innit mate. I was just doing it when i thought it was ready for my conditions... but always better with a second opinion =) Cheers lad.

Hey dude. Anything I've read, and now had some experience with, says that the more gradual the period of change the better. You will get less stretching and stressing. I did a bit of a transition period this grow, then got impatient lol so I went to 12/12. But I did a few days of 16/8, a day of 14/10, then 12/12. It's not gonna kill you to go to 12/12 right off the bat though. I have never heard of going into a straight 24 hour dark period though. Maybe to try and force them more? Not sure. You'll be just fine with 12/12 though I think man.

Also had to say I love how many of us growers are in the position to be snowed in. It seems to be snowing for most of today and continuing tonight lol!! Love it man!

Hey guys cheers,even tho flake has best idea, i believe that flickin em to 12/12 will do just fine for this first grow and herby yeh man, only buy fems hehe, and xana dude, its nice to see you over here, and v greatful for the input! apart from, me and flake are from uk not us lot more snow here ... but my babies are stayin nice and warm! Just had a peak as they've just turned on an hour ago, and i can see white hairs on the auto already! woop woop! i'll post a piccy in cuple hours see if its pre-hairs peace guys!
