Judge Napolitano on the second amendment

Pretty good essay. The proglodytes won't like it.

"The right of the people to keep and bear arms is an extension of the natural right to self-defense and a hallmark of personal sovereignty. It is specifically insulated from governmental interference by the Constitution and has historically been the linchpin of resistance to tyranny. And yet, the progressives in both political parties stand ready to use the coercive power of the government to interfere with the exercise of that right by law-abiding persons because of the gross abuse of that right by some crazies in our midst."

Yep. Get use to it, leach.

As soon as the proglodytes tuck their tails back between their legs and realize that we are serious about the constitution, the discussion about 2A will calm down.
i can almost feel the spittle splashing through your dentures as you pound that keyboard with your withered old knuckles.

As soon as you become a tax paying citizen, I will treat your rants with a little more courtesy. I will even let you hold the glass as I soak my ivorys in their polydent solution.

In my experience, and I've taken more than a few political science classes, it brings out the worst in people. Unfortunately.
Ain't that the truth! I don't know why we have such rancor when discussing why the proglodytes are morons and all of their thoughts and beliefs are misguided. :-)

might have something to do with blanket statements like that.

also, quoting a moron who works for fox news and says the constitution is unconstitutional helps.

Buck and Dude looove this shit. They may truly hate each other (or not, who knows?), but the fact they always end up enguageing each other on subjects like this, tells me all I need to know. Reminds me of the movie Grumpy old men.

Full discloser: 99% of the time I'm rooting for Dude concerning 2A.

I like Napolitano. I don't always agree with him (he was adamant that the terrorists should have been tried in a civil court in NYC) but I interpret him as a strict constitutionalist. I'm not familiar with him saying the constitution was unconstitutional. When was this?
