We are still in tremendous debt and thanks for affordable health care that raised what 25% this year? The moment he tried taking and controlling my rights to guns it was over. When dealing with their promise to repeal the ACA, it was a safe bet when they knew the president would veto their repeal. Public and medical industry opposition to repeal without replace make it a nonstarter in DC. After all these years of opposition to the ACA, GOP congress has nothing when it comes to replacing the ACA, mainly because the ACA is much better than what it replaced (aka, nothing). And so, whenever the topic of repealing the ACA comes up, the GOP congress looks like the dog that caught the bus.
The GOP congress and Trump are going to have to wear egg on their faces and smile when Trumpcare looks a lot like the ACA but costs many times more and millions lose coverage. Trump's promise to repeal the ACA in his first week in office has morphed into "we'll have something by the end of the year".

ps, your argument about guns is juvenile. Nobody ever discussed taking guns away from anybody, especially not hunters. Interestingly enough, knives actually are more restricted in what can and can't be carried than guns. I'm not saying current laws restricting either make much sense, I'm just pointing at you and laughing at your ignorance.
