Hi everybody, this is my first time working with a clone of purp. I had done all of my research on growing from seeds and what not, but I instead decided to buy a clone. How should I plant this and in what soil? It will be an indoor stealth grow, and I will have pics up by tonight. I am running one 32 watt cfl, but I'm waiting till tomorrow morning to start a light cycle. Thank you, posting links helps as well

Why did you get a clone and not have a plan what to do with it ?
Start light cycle now. 24 hours on/ 0 off.

one 32 watt is no where near enough. maybe it is to get the clone rooted but thats about it. If you plan on growing with CFL the more the beter. in my old cfl grow i had 13 bulbs and somewhere aronud like 200 watts all together just for one plant.

I would recommend any organic soil you can find. Make sure it does not have any nutrients in it as this can cause you problems later on. Maybe you could soak that clone in some water for a couple of minutes and then take it out. You dont want those roots to dry out! It's a healthy looking little fucker!

You can also buy a bag of perlite if they have it. Small bag is like 4 bucks. Mix about 2 parts soil to 1 part perlite and mix it up real good. Perlite helps drainage and gives the roots a little room to breathe.

I have been vegging mine 24/0 all the way through. It is a matter of preference. I most likely will go to 18/6 this summer to help keep the heat down during the day. It is already getting into the 90's here. Plus, that 6 hours a day will save me about 25 bucks a month on electricity. Damn, I think I just became an 18/6 guy.

24hrs veg is fine n a switch to 12 12 wont do anything but tell them to bud. got my ladies on a 20hr on 4 off bc i like the little temp drop and some dark is good, gives them a bit of rest

Am i supposed to remove the clone from its little foam surrounding it was rooting in?
If the clone has roots in that plug...you'll rip them out if you remove it. Keep the plug very moist until you put it in the dirt...just stick the whole thing in the dirt - roots will grow right through it. Good luck - yo
