just choped up ?

ive just choped my plants and i was wondering if i can put my lose bud in a cardboard box to dry is it ok and can i put it some in a jar to dry is it ok becouse my tent still got bud growin in there had a bit of problem so thats why i got but in there!got some pics post in a min!

you can dry in a cardboard box, but not in a jar. it may get moldy in the jar. if you dont have room for it, just stick it in a paper bag and open it every so often.

im a newb but i thought jars were better than cardboard?

i read in someones post that cardboard attracts moisture and causes bud rot, i don't know just something i vaguely remember.

iam confused now what to do with lose bud now help!?

i personally would go with the jars. as long as they are totally clean and sealed!

leave them in there for a few weeks opening the jars every now and then to let fresh air in, move them about to disperse moisture.

probably not the best method, but the veterans will answer you better soon i'm sure.

after you cure for a few weeks the more subtle aromas will come out of the nugs. You should be able to tell the difference between them then.

jars are for curing- not drying! you want air circulation during drying

yeh iam doing that air drying but they still stink as the day i choped them ?

stinks like moldy abit but somkes good ? but i cant find no mold on them?

lol GROW FAQ!!!! tells you everything you need to know about the drying process. Dont put bud straight into jars it will just mold. Hang until bendy stalks/dryish bud. Then burp in jars for a couple of weeks checkin there aint no mould! Good luck

yeh i know that but the bud stinks nastay

do not put them in a jar until they are dry, otherwise you will get mold. nothing wet should ever go in jars.

the smell of mould is jus bcoz its fresh bud my boy used to get wet shit for me to punt all the time and it always smelled of mulched grass cutting so i wouldnt worry about that right now jus dry and cure and enjoy
