First of all, I swear I am not affiliated with this store in any way, but when I find a good company to do business with, especially a small company, I want to share that experience with others whom I think can benefit as well.
I just recently purchased a Can Max Fan from Cheap Hydroponics because they had it cheaper than anywhere else I could find ($125 as compared to $150+). I placed my order late Sunday night and immediately got two emails confirming my order. The next morning I also had a third email confirming the successful processing of my payment.
It was then I realized I had neglected to include a bottle of pH calibration solution, which they had for $7. I called the number on the email and on the third ring, the phone was answered by an actual person (!) who knew who I was because he had just been putting together the morning's orders. I asked if it was too late to add the pH solution to my order, and he said he'd just throw it in there for me rather than having to run my card again. I told him that was too generous, but he insisted. How's THAT for service?
Three days later (Wednesday), the package arrived. The fan is beautiful and the pH solution was there just like he said it would be. The package was a plain box with simply "CH" listed as the shipper, and that is what appeared on my card as well.
Next time you are looking for products, check this place out. They seem at minimum competitive and oftentimes cheaper than anywhere else I have found. And the small company appears to be operated by people who actually know their products. In this day and age, good prices AND good service is so hard to find. And THAT's why I wanted to share. Enjoy.
