Holy sheeeeit!
Immediately upon receiving it...I did a very dumb thing. I put it on the floor and plugged it in. What a mess! Shit blown everywhere with in the first 10 seconds! lol
This thing moves some serious air. Before everybody flips out and asks me why I got such a big fan...the answer is simple. My grow room is in the middle of my house on the first floor (no basement). I am hoping to put it on an attenuator and bring it down half speed to quiet it...but still be able to move enough air to pull it through a CanFan Filter 100.
I plan on building an MDF box, sealing the thing in, wrap it in insulation, hanging it from the ceiling with rubber ties.
If I have to, I'll DIY a duct muffler to quiet the air.
