Just moved to CA, can I get a recommendation for chronic pain?

Hey, I just moved from the midwest, and into an apartment with my friend in San Francisco a little over 2 weeks ago. I fractured 2 of my metacarpals about a year and a half ago, so the doctors attached titanium plates to hold them together. As I go through the day my hand gets progressively more sore, and I'm having a hard time sleeping because of it. I'm also prescribed xanax for anxiety/stress. I have the medical documentation to prove this.

What I'm wondering is if there are any clinics that would accept me with my medical records without having a California ID? and if not, how hard is it to get a California ID from the DMV? I don't have my name on any bills yet. I have a certified birth certificate, SSN, and my old ID. Is that enough to receive a California ID?

I used to medicate in my old state, and it really helped me sleep when my hand gets sore, but I have no connections out here, and my friend is a non-smoker. Kind of getting desperate, because Xanax doesn't provide the same type of relief. Thanks!

I'd suggest calling the DMV and asking them the requirements to get a state ID card or drivers license, I'm not sure what that takes, but it's not much if I'm remembering correctly

From there, getting a medical license is easy as cake, there are tons of doctors that advertise specifically as medical cannabis doctors, go in, tell the guy about your hand and anxiety, pay $60 and off you go. It took me less than 15 minutes last time in Los Angeles, San Fran is very cannabis friendly. I've smoked out in the open in a few parks up there before without any issues

Drivers license will cost about $25 but you might have to wait a couple weeks for it to arrive in the mail

You're asking how to get a drivers license after moving to a new state?.....

How do you do laundry? Dress yourself? Just go to the DMV man. Then go to weedmaps and look up a weed doctor. They'll be signing your papers before you even sit down with them.
