I went ahead and started up my grow today, after months of procrastination and research. I didn't germinate the seed instead i just put some Fox Farm Ocean Forest into a party cup poked a hole about finger nail deep and plopped the seed in.
Grow box has about 2 1/2 feet of room after you take into considering the size of the pot and where the lights are mounted. Its a rubbermaid growbox that i set up with tin foil.
It has 6 total CFL's but only 3 are on right now espeically for the seedling. I know more is better but there's more than enough with 3 CFL's right now its pretty bright. PLUS i bought the wrong extension cord at wallmart and couldn't hook up the other lights
Not sure how long it will take for my seedling to pop out of the soil but if i don't see anything for a week I'm gonna dive into the dirt and see if it survived.
