What i do is i veg with fluorescent lights for about 3-4 weeks...Then i put them in my tent for flowing..Now when you want to get a good amount of bud you want an high pressure sodium light..They got a range of them...150 watt, 250 watt, 400 watt, 600 watt. Depending on how much bud you want and the amount of space you have plus how many plants you got...But for your first time indoors you need at least a 400hps light to get the results that will most likely satisfy your needs..Idk im just really stoned right now :)

just google marijuana grow guide. read a few things before making decisions, there's a lot of controversy out there and you want to get both sides of the story to make your own informed choices. i learned from experience doing 3-4 outdoor seasons as a kid, but had no clue what i was doing indoors. so i just got on here and looked at tons of setups and read about equipment, techniques etc. Reading other people's grow journals really helps too, its almost as if youre doing the grow yourself....kinda

I just finished my first grow and here are the most important things for growing...

1) GET A 400WATT HPS light or higher! This is the most important factor.
2) Make sure your room stays between 65-85 and that you have some air coming into the room, but lots of outtake, it really helps with heat.
3) Get a basic nutrition system, a good grow solution and good bloom solution, all the extras you wont need and start off using half the recommend dose.
4) DONT OVER WATER if in soil, water them fully once, then wait until the bucket is dry and light, you can test it by picking it up. Roots grow by searching for water, so let them search till there is none left, then fully water again.

I wish I had of known these things on my first grow.

Its more simple then you realize..Trust me once you get the hang of growing and getting everything down good then you will be like damn..idk why it was so hard for me to understand..And it's cool because i even had this problem my first time...
