just started my first shroom grow!!

No pics yet need to get my software working...


but im using the wbs is was cockiteal so lots of sunflowers and nuts to pick out (most of the nuts)


my two syringes are aussie and tazmania

i waited for the wbs to dry then spored them up

what should i look for next and how long will it take???

what the average time for a whole grow

im trying to follow kush crossers and do you need a pc or is there an alternative????

You absolutely 100% need a pressure cooker for grains. If you didn't don't be suprised if you get a lot of contaminants or a lot of bacteria. I would suggest

thanks thompson that answered all of my qs on on the right path but im a step ahead now

i just realized i might have fucked up

i only did one jar when i should have done 3 if i already injected to spores if i put them back in the pressure cooker for 2 more jars will i kill the spore having them in heat for 1 hours

what can i do to handle this????

Yes, spores die over 100F.

My wbs colonized in 10 to 17 days in 1/2 pints and pints. I just put it in a substrate, I used this technique: http://www.shroomotopia.net/forum/index.php?topic=947.0. I used 1pt wbs to 2 parts of this mix.
Once it's colonized, which should take a few days, I will case it with an inch or so of 50/50 peat moss and coco coir. Then I will fruit it...

There's far more optimal ways that have been proven thousands and thousands of times.

hey tall tee i don5t have a clue about either of these peoples backgrounds are but from seeing all the pictures they have of what they have cultivated and that is nothing and thats also the amount of advice id take from them....with that being said you have seen kush's work its a tried and true system...if you were to be asking anybody ask him or go to shroomtalk or mycotopia and get your awnsers there. now from my experience i have gotten away without a pressure cooker but that doesnt go without saying that i have canning experience, so i dont recommend you trying that unless you know what your doing.as for time your jars could take up to a month and no less than 2 weeks...if everything is good you could get shrooms within a month...

that what i was plannin on i have them on a portable heater the inside of the jar is 84 and my room temp is 72 so i plan on faster colonization!!!!!

have you tried the 2 strains im doing...?? phs???

Like what? It colonizes in three days if you use a 1pt wbs to 2 parts coco coir/vermiculite.
I doubt there is another tek out here that works faster...

my jars are fairly damp and started them the 1st i have just spotting is this me or is it slow as fuck i also ahave a fan heater on them temps are about 85F and got my syringes from lilshopofspores.com and were very sparce aussie and tazmania.......help please

the birdseed i got was wrong it was a cockiteal mix so i got a 20 pound bag round of actual wbs with sunflower, cracked corn and millet and milo......it says on bag enough to feed year aka enough to grow shrooms year round i plan on getting a few heads from a friend to start over since i filled and sterilzed my jars they look perfect now and i hope kush crosser get online soon to hook it up with a few prints!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi T., that was just a test grow... small and fast... the big brothers from the same syringe on pooh just tore their vieils today, stems like fingers
