Hello all this is my 2nd attempt at growing my 1st grow was unsuccessful I had one bag seed and it didn't germinate so I threw it away. Flash forward 3 days and I am trying again with some seeds I got from a friend and this time every seed I germinated sprouted roots. I was so excited!! After work I went and bought some dirt and what I believe is Perite (??) I don't know I live in a foreign country and I can't really read the language all that well yet :(. But I am trying I have both of my girls in ramen noodle cups with 1 CFL on them.

I have a problem with my job where I am not sure if I can do an 18 hr day every day so I am considering doing either just 12/12 al the way through!?! Or doing like 20/4 hour days!?! Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated I want the fastest grow possible while still having a decent yield. I don't want to be caught because no one wants to go to jail in a foreign country. So please give me suggestions for a fast grow. I think I saw that a 12/12 al the way through was a pretty fast grow I may just do this for convenience sake.

Ok everyone time for an update an some pictures of my ladies (hopefully). I already messed up their light schedule today. I am doing a 12/12 schedule and my 12 hour period was supposed to be from 8AM - 8PM everyday. But I was tired at work today so I went to sleep and I was supposed to wake up at 7:30 to get ready to water my seedings and turn on the lights for them. But I didn't wake up till like around 9:16 so I messed up a little bit.

I wasn't seeing too much progress yet, until I took them out to water them just now (2:45AM). And from the time I turned the light on at 9:23PM till now both seeds have broken the surface of the soil, Plant B which I will call Curry (since it is in a Curry Ramen noodle cup) is leading the pack and can be clearly be seen. The other plant which I don't have a name for yet, because I don't know what kind of ramen noodle cup it is in isn't quite as developed as my sweet little curry. I guess maybe the Curry residue is making plant B a little more fiesty.

Plant B: Curry

Plant A: ???

Plant A Looking wayy better

Curry need another light for Curry

So after about 4 days of growth I think they are growing pretty well. Also considering the fact I am growing them in a crappy ass cardboard box with only 1 weak ass cfl. Of note I am doing 12/12 light cycle all the way through.

have you looked at the other grows do you honestly think people are interested in a little sprout with nothing special about it ? Its kool when they are at least 1 inch tall just a thought im not putting you down. but sceems kinda pointless because everyone elses plants look just like that when they are that size hasent even got its first set of leafs but good luck with your grow hope you get some buds and I think anyone will agree with me that ur fan making wind wont do anything except maybe stress out your plantswhen they got more height then a light breeze will help build a stonger stem but remember your plant works on its root system first before it goes up so when its just trying to make roots your not helping it and wasting electricity Just keep reading grow logs and grow guides and you should learn and research all aspects of what your plants needs and when and how to apply it hopr fully you do well trial and error dont feel bad if you mess up this plant a couple months ago I vegged a plant for allmost 2 months then I was cloning it and accidentally gave it some rooting hormone that was mixed in some water and watered my plant with it and it dried up my whole plant I cut it down the middle exactly with a razor and it was hallow but it looked alive and healthy for a week doing nothing before I put it outside then it wilted like a muthafucka lol stupid bagseed lol none of my freaking clones worked too

Thanks for all your feedback Baked ^_^. I know that probably most people don't care about my plants, and your right there is no reason for them too. But I am doing this grow journal because there is another guy living here in Japan too and I wanted to show him my grow. It's tough enough as it is growing in such a small space, but also buying materials is almost impossible since I can't really read too much Japanese. I am just going on hope and sheer determination to show others on this forum living in this country that maybe it can be done ^_^, but probably not done all that great hahaha

don't worry if anyone cares. I started mine just to keep track of my progress. Then people start posting help. So just keep posting your progress.

Maybe you can order online.

Kenny, good luck. I'll post some pics of my 2008 outdoor in Japan later. :)

Edit: Posted a couple of pics into album "2008" in my profile.
Organic outdoor. Mandala Satori and Hashberry, Mist of Destruction Menage a Trois, Sensi Skunk#1, Female Seeds Zamal x Skunk and Nirvana Snow White.
The pics are a bit old, they've gotten bigger than that now, but having problems with camera. The Zamal is nearly 7 foot, the Hashberry about 4-4 1/2 foot etc.

Dude, if you want a plant that will grow quickly, stay small, and be perfectly happy with whatever light schedule you throw at it, then maybe try to get some Lowlife autoflowering seeds. Check out my journal to see what the AK looks like after less than two months - it's almost ready for harvest!
