Kanibus' Perpetual 400w Tent Grow, who knows what I'll be growing...

Alright so I am going to attempt the perpetual mother/clone grow for the first time…

My goal is to get a mother of the two kinds I have planted now, and whatever else in the future, add predatory mites and keep those alive so when I cut the clones they will come fully equipped with predatory mites ready to rock and roll. I will be keeping only 1 mother of each kind and the rest will be flowered and males will be donated to someone else (you know who you are) or destroyed.

I have started off with some BlueBerry seeds, and some Grand Daddy Purple x BubbleGum seeds we will name later (suggestions welcome  Grand Daddy Gums?). I got 10 seeds, 5 of each kind, and germinated them in tap water for 12 to 18 hours, once I could touch them and they sunk (some did sink immediately, so they were submerged for the entire time). Then I put them all into paper towels, wet them and placed in ziplocks in a dark place. Once I saw a tap root come out, I plopped them into some HappyFrog soil and soaked the soil with light nutes as suggested on the bottle (~5ml per gallon of Botanicare ProGrow). Couple days later they popped up, ready to rock and roll under a few CFLs.

I had to be gone a few days, but when I returned they were all sprouted and seemed to be lively. Here’s what they look like today 9 days after putting in the soil.

Thanks PG033!

Few more photos, not much going on right now. Still on a 24h cycle, just growing away seems like only one is stretching and bending towards the light, not bad though.

Still not decided if I should just buy a humidity dome for cloning or make a DIY cloning dome or something like that. Dome is like 7 bucks and all I would need is rock wool/peat plugs. :leaf:

Since this is my all in one grow journal I guess I could post up what my flowering tent is up to.

Pretty full in there right now as you can see, about 3-5 weeks til done (depending on the trichomes of course)
Day055 All.jpg

Purple Haze, sativa strain that just grew out of fricken control. It's now darn near over the light and under a foot from the top. Looong colas it produced.
Day055 (PH).jpg

Blue Cheese, sativa, one of my favorite strains to smoke. First time growing and it didn't grow so well from the start of the clone, but looks pretty good now.
Day055 (BC).jpg

SunShine, sativa, this one was a pain in my butt, I think it might have been the cause of my spider mite problem I had a while ago. Lady bugs took care of them, I haven't seen any in a while **knock on wood**
Day055 (SS).jpg

Grape Ape, indica, this one is turning out very well in my opinion. Buds are looking fat and juicy. I don't think they're turn purple as the name suggests due to my temps, but that's just fine with me.

Sorry for the lack of updates, and even this quicky update as I have some family down at the moment, hard to get away to snap pictures and post on message boards haha. I will be updating more with better shots come next week when they leave. Anyhow here's the little ones after 2 weeks:

Then we got the girls that are slowly finishing up.

Well the girls seem to be doing ok today after the Purple Haze got burnt, starting to get stinky inside the tent (I like it!). Only a couple more weeks until they’re done so it’s getting hard to wait, the anticipation is starting!

Purple Haze

Blue Cheese

Grape Ape

Little ones are starting to fill out pretty well, should grab some more pots today for them and make up some new batch of low strength nutrient water.

Well as you can see the little ones are going just fine, I have moved them into the cloning tray I bought yesterday , just for now (good for watering as I don’t need separate saucers). Made up some more nutrients for them with a little more strength and added some Liquid Karma. I cut up some of the old Distilled Water jugs I had around to make larger pots until I find out the sex of the babies. I got 3 gallon pots waiting for the select few that will be kept.

The big girls are just doing wonderful IMO (with the exception of the burnt one). Each one is producing at least a couple nice sized nugs, and the Grape Ape is going to be a big yielder I can tell. Purple Haze is a little stretchy and airy, but expected for a sativa. I think the Purple Haze will have a couple colas as long as my arm. Snapped a picture of the SunShine today since I missed it yesterday.
