heres the funny thing ive gone threw a lot of weed to get these seeds and it was alwasys the high that made me keep the seeds and grow them. i just got 2 new cuttings from a buudy today pineapple express g13 labs and shishkaberry cash crop ken. check out my cheese grow journal started flowring today
thats cool those 2 cuts sound really good. i saw the cheese, n now all you gotta do is sit back and watch the buds start exploding all over those plant. ay i did see where you had a mite issue there. i spent 2 days trying all different products n resorted to the insectacide but i saw maybe a half dozen on after all this. I did a through look and those were the only ones on the plants. any idea
affter ya spray ya gotta go back for the next 2 3 days and manually kill the eggs or get rid of the foilage with lots of eggs. i ust started flushing the kush gonna chop it on monday heres something to look at since smile and big band are boring right now
I checked my smile and big band this morning only to find loads of little red/orange ants in the soil and around the pots so I had no choice but to spray some bug spray around the pots and on the top of the soil, then flushed them thoroughly. They seemed to get sloppy for a few hours then perked right back up after flush, so all is good, key is if ur gonna use any chemical based product make sure you use very very little and flush the plants straight away and give em a foliage spray with some nice clean ph checked water, only do this if they were young ie early days of veg, i wouldnt attempt any of this if they were anywhere near flowering. the kush in the pics was one of the plants that needed to be treated but it had been flowering already for a month. so i sprayed i mean really soaked up down. the trick is to put it near a fan and under lights so that the moisture will dry up eliminating the chance of mold. basically what i am saying is if u have mite fear the mite more than the mold and spray. i even had to wash the spray off with plain water for the next few days so it really got wet for a few days with heavy flowers on it but i got it to dry rather quickly and i m chopping her in a few days i am pretty sure there is no mold
i suffered some leaf damage from the organicide too but keep in mind its better than the mites being there. when i had the mites they were in two diff tents and all plants were not affected so it could be a weird spread out sometimes. show me some pics and i will take a look. im not an expert but i got my shit tight
i think they are looking ok so far i made a lot of upgrades to my tent and stuff so i have been slacking onn the updates but i got everything uner control now so here we go. i harvested that kush plant smells better than it is tho and the yeild was kinda low but whatever it was a bagseed that went through a lot during flowering. i went out and got some foxfarm grow big and tiger bloom. i gave them their first dose of half strength yesterday. i finished building my charcoal filter for my flowering room. first shot is the veg room with all the babies then the 2 kannabia seedlings i have the solo shots of each 9 days old now
i got the design from a thread on here by purplerhino where you take a shop vac filter and fill it with activated charcoal and hook it up to your fan. since i already had 2 blower fans i took the strongest one and hooked it up to the top of the tent blowing out. i took the other one and hooked it up to the bottom of the other side of the tent and to my window(so its sucking cool air into the tent). i found a 6 inch filter that was a little more sturdy so i got a 6 to 4 inch reducer. i used 2 pantyhose to hold the carbon in place and wiggled the reducer right in the filter. from there it was just a matter of duct tape and some string to hold it up cause its heavy. the reason i used the strong one for the exhaust is so that it almost caves in but the velco holds it and i get a negative pressure type of effect where the only air leaving the tent is out the filter. wassup with your how they lookin?
oh shit thats awesome. so basically the vac filter filled with carbon and the 4 to 6 reducer fits either inside or over the vac filter w carbon and duct taped in place? ill fandangle a way to hold it up in place.and yeah the stronger fan exhaust to create negative pressure flow definately makes it easier to keep cool. i wish i could hook it up to run off outside air but sadly the local news stations are reporting that our state is the numbr one state for growing buds, even more so than cali so they investigate anything "suspecious looking". damn thats what i needa do though as far as the smell is concerned. my AC bill is through the fucking roof trying t keep vented. but on the bright side my white shark super female i bred with tga subcool jack the ripper is lookin badass and that shit is stinkin reallly bad. i use all kinda of ionizers and hepa filters but it aint workin. im gunna grab me one of those blowers and do that up.
