Karo?

Everyone says to use blackstrap molassas during flower to beef up the size/density of your buds. I've read some forums where people have tried to prove this theory wrong in that it actually has no affect. Now I'm not sure wether or not this is true but I'm trying a similar experiment. Karo is a dark corn syrup similar to molassas. I've done some research and it has very similar nutritional qualities as well as ingredients. I have 3 jack herers growing indoors and one I've been using karo instead of nutes. They are 8 weeks into flower now and are very close to being done. I guess I'm just wondering if anyone has tried karo before and if I'm just wasting my time? Will I see a weight difference between the 3 specimins? (even though they all look about the same size)

I'm not expert, but I believe the molasses wasn't used to replace nutes, it was like a carb loader, just gave the plant extra sugars to work with, so I'd believe you replacing that karo for nutes completely on one plant would be a mistake, as the syrups don't provide needed nutrients to sustain a plant through flowering, but i reiterate i'm not expert :) Have a good one and good luck!!
edit: just to make my self clear, I've always seen ppl use molasses for the carbs, and other nutes to fulfull the N-P-K and micronutes :)

Sry my mistake I didnt mean instead of nutes I used the karo along with the nutes on one plant, I actually just harvested a few days ago and the three plants look and feel about the same but when Its completely dry I will have an exact weight of each
