what is the best way to keep for a long period trim to make bubble hash later on. i know if you keep bud in the freezer to long it breaks down the tries. i was thinking glass jars in the dark, or zip-loc bags in the frig, what do you think?

Jars would be my first choice for smaller amounts.
If you have quantity, then vacuum seal & keep someplace cool & dark.

I don't know why, and if it happens it will be the most trivial argument of all time, but I really want to help start and be involved in an argument as to whether to take the time to paint a ziploc bag black to put it in the fridge which is dark when not opened.

Well, IMHO the fridge is a dumb ass place to keep weed anyway - as you mention, lots of people go in and out of the damn thing so why keep your stash there?
My first choice would be a nice dark spot in the basement where its cool, vacuum seal, box the shit up & store it there.
Stash it away from excessive heat, prying eyes & light and poof, no need to paint bags and problem solved.

Dude! You said unless your fridge is open for more then 10 seconds! I usually open the door and take the time look threw it for some good grub. My fridge is packed. I'm like a kid in a candy store when I go to a grocery store and get alot of good food. It's not good for keeping the temperature averaged but my door is open for like a good solid minute!!

OK, now it's time for your rebuttal Spidey.

You should know what's in the fridge, or what you want more or less, by the time you open the fridge. You could also put your ziploc bags inside a paper bag to block light while they are in the fridge - no messing with paint there.
