Keeping a plant vegetating for months with low light?

I don't consider getting a few CFLs an investment in some lights. Its a temporary solution.
If OP doesn't want to purchase one of the most basic and important things for an inside grow, do you think he will decide to invest that money into cloning materials to a keep a clone grow going for the next 5 months? Great idea, a sweet window clone grow by a someone with zero basic cannabis knowledge.

I hear ya. Lots of people like ignoring good advice for what they "think" will work better by their own design. Or worse yet, people who blatantly ignore basics, like pH, and post endless threads about why their plants look like shit.

All we can do is offer advice and hope someone comes along and puts good use to it.

For this poster, you don't have to invest in a cloner. You can do something as simple as using clone gel and a glass of water. Or even better, get a cheap propagation tray and rapid rooters. Can't get any easier or cheaper than that. I think we're talking less than $10.

BTW @avillax , I'm not necessarily saying that you're one of the people I was referring to, but I hope you got the point anyways. Lots of good advice on very cheap and easy solutions. Things that wouldn't take more than 10 minutes to get going. So if you decide to put such advice to good use, congratulations, you've added a check mark in the "smart" category :)
